Chapter 386

Sage had not seen her in a long time, since Sienna was treated as a psychopath and was taken awayfrom the Annual Rose Festival.

Tim and Luther asked if she needed help to teach Sienna a lesson, but she declined politely andsaid, “No need.”

Seth and Nigel hated her. However, Sienna was only eyeing Jace. Jace was no good anymore, sothere was no need to bother him. As for Sienna, she did not care as long as she did not bother her.She was sure that Sienna would be taught a lesson sooner or later.

Sage never wanted to get into trouble with another woman. Unfortunately, a certain woman couldnot win over her man, so she could only seek trouble with her rival.

Just as Sienna was about to lean on Jace, he dodged her hurriedly. He did not even look at Siennaand turned to Sage with a hint of panic in his usually calm eyes.

He was afraid that Sage might misunderstand him. His disgusted and nervous look came intoSienna’s sight. When she saw Sage, her bright smile turned gloomy.

Why was Sage here too?!

Sienna stood in front of Jace as if she was trying to show her dominance over him. She said to Sage, who had just walked in, “Miss Norah, long time no see. I didn't expect to meet you here.”

Sienna tilted her head and observed the man beside Sage. The good-looking man had clear eyesand appeared gentle and elegant. She faked her elegance and asked in a generous voice, “Is heyour new boyfriend? Why don't you introduce him to us?”

Nigel gazed at Sienna and stopped briefly. He inquired softly, “Who is she?” Sage answeredemotionlessly, “Jace's dream lover.”

Sienna was stunned in silence. She did not expect Sage to introduce her like that. It made her proudand gave her a sense of superiority. She shyly tucked her hair behind her ears and lookedtriumphant, as if she was silently saying, “Yes, it's me.” Jace, who was standing behind Sienna, frowned. What did Sage mean by dream lover? Nigel understood immediately and answered with along hum. “Oh, is she the one who shamelessly has an affair with a married man? She doesn't lookprettier or nicer than you. Why does your ex-husband have such a bad taste?” Nigel's remark madeSienna utterly speechless. Sage scoffed softly, “Who knows.” Nigel and Sage communicated briefly, then ignored them and walked away. They never liked to speak ill of others behind their backs, sothey would rather convey their disgust directly. Sienna felt embarrassed to be ridiculed in public. Her face grew hot in anger. She immediately raised her voice and shouted, “Hey! Where are yourmanners? How dare you scold me!”

They were so arrogant to mock her so straightforwardly!

The atmosphere of a wine tasting event was usually quiet, accompanied by nice music playing in thebackground.

Sienna“s voice was so loud and abrupt, attracting the guests’ unwanted attention. Everyone wassurprised and turned to her in unison.

Sienna enjoyed the limelight and wanted to shout again. The waiter with a tray approached her andgently reminded her, “Miss, please remain quiet in the event and not make any loud noises.”

Sienna was stunned and slightly startled, only to realize that the gazes directed at her were... full ofdisgust. Her face suddenly grew red in embarrassment. In the meantime, the culprit who angeredher-Sage and her new boyfriend had walked away without her noticing.

How could they walk away right after mocking her! Sienna was both angry and aggrieved. Sheturned her head and wanted to make a coquettish complaint with Jace, only to realize that Jace waslong gone. Her face darkened again.
