Chapter 413 Missus Jefferson was extremely frightened when she saw that the house was packedwith men in black

“What's going on? Who told you to barge in? You're trespassing. We can call the police! Somebody!Where are the guards? Hurry up and drive these people out! Her shrill voice echoed in theresidence, but nobody answered her. The atmosphere became awkward again.

After a long while, Hunter spoke and broke the awkwardness.

"Please excuse us for visiting so late at night. Miss Sage's purpose for coming here is very simple.We heard that Miss Yeva has been detained and locked up, so we've made a trip here to bring herback. This is so that she won't continue to live in the Jefferson's Residence and inconvenienceeveryone.”

When the Jefferson family heard those words, they all turned to look at Sage. However, it wasunexpected that Sage used her hand to support her head and had actually fallen asleep again. Shedid not take them seriously at all! Missus Jefferson was infuriated. Just as she was about to goforward and insult Sage, she was held back by Queenie, who was smiling gently. “Missus Jefferson,don't be angry. Have a seat first.”

Queenie helped Missus Jefferson take a seat on the couch before taking a few steps forward. Herinnocent face still had a gentle smile on it.

“Miss Sage, I'm afraid there are some misunderstandings to this matter. We did not lock Miss Yevaup. She was the one who came to our door herself. She held a pregnancy test stick and a test report,and she wanted Julian to acknowledge the child in her belly. Julian said that since they weredivorced, it's best that both parties sever all ties with each other.

“Regardless of whether the child was his, he advised her to terminate the pregnancy. The Jeffersonfamily would bear the cost of the surgery. However, Yeva was reluctant. Hunter glanced at her. “May I know who you are?” “Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name isQueenie Hart.”

She linked her arms with Julian and touched her belly as she said that. She then addedmeaningfully, “Julian is the father of the child in my belly.”

Hunter calmly replied, “Oh. That means you don’t have a proper status at the moment. Of course,you can't speak on behalf of the Jefferson family. It's better to let someone in-charge step forwardto speak to Miss Sage.”

Queenie was speechless. She was embarrassed and upset.

All the while, Sage did not say a single thing. She just lazily yawned and slept. She felt much moreenergetic after that, and she also regained her strength to fight.

Seeing that she finally opened her eyes, Julian stepped forward and squatted next to the coffeetable.

"Sage, what are you doing? We're so close, so why should we damage our relationship for Yeva'ssake? Don't worry. I only want her to stay here for another month so that I can have her tested tosee if the child is mine. If the child isn't mine, I promise to let her go. I'll send her back to the RosaGarden. Is that alright?”

Sage lazily lifted her eyelids. She was planted on the couch without moving a muscle as well. Herposture was casual and laid-back. It was as if she was in her own home.

She said indifferently, “Since I'm already here, I don't want to leave in vain. Hand Yeva over to me,and I'll leave. I won't stay a second longer.”

“Impossible!” Wilson was so irritated by Sage’s attitude that he finally got angry. “Yeva may still becarrying the descent of the Jefferson family in her belly. We absolutely can't let her leave! We'll lether leave after she delivers the child.”

Sage chuckled. “Mister Jefferson , you've been mistaken. I don't intend to have a discussion withyou. I'm saying that Yeva has to leave with me tonight.” As soon as she said that, two men in blackwalked up to her from a corner and reported, “Miss, we've found her. She is locked up in the attic.”Sage answered them calmly and said, “Let's go. Let's go up and have a look.” She got up andwanted to bring her men upstairs. Wilson and Julian were about to stop them, but they weresurrounded by the men in black and were restrained. They were only able to shout at the top oftheir lungs. “You're trespassing. It's against the law!” “I don't need you guys to teach me about thelaw.” Sage went up the stairs without even looking back. She turned her head and instructed Hunter,"Get the camera ready. Take a few more photos later. We have to save some evidence. Their crimesof abducting and privately detaining a pregnant woman seemed to be quite heavy.” As she wentupstairs, she smiled slyly. “Whoever wants to fight me to death may not die in the end, but Icertainly won't let them off the hook easily.”
