Chapter 470 Jace ran over to Sage with lightning speed and pounced on her, dodging theoncoming car. The both of them almost fell into the flower bed, but they managed to regain theirbalance.

Sage was not startled by Luna. She was, on the other hand, startled by Jace, and she almost twistedher ankle. She frowned deeply and struggled to get out of Jace’s embrace Jace’s heart wasthumping in his chest. He let out a sigh of relief after making sure Sage was safe.

Luna got out of the car and apologized, “Oh my goodness, that was so scary. Are you guys okay?I'm not sure what's up with my car. It just started driving on its own...” Sage looked up coldly andsaid, “You're saying it started moving by itself without you touching it? Does it also have a mind onits own?” “Right? I'm just as confused as you.” Luna, the driver who almost ran into someone, actedmore innocent and clueless than the person she almost ran into. She patted the car and said, “Idon't know much about cars, not sure why it did that. I should bring the car into the workshop tosee what's wrong with it.”

“Spare the workshop. Let's go to the police instead,” Jace said coldly.

Luna and Sienna looked at Jace, surprised.

"W... what for?” Luna blinked rapidly.

“To turn you in for intentional homicide,” Jace said ever so coldly, without a single trace of warmth.Luna froze in place, as she had not expected Jace to be so ruthless.

Sienna’s face was drained from blood. She said smilingly to Jace, “Jace, look at you. Why are you soangry? It's not that big of a deal.”

Yoel's laugh had finally come to a stop after taking the medicine. The corner of his mouth liftedslightly as he said in disdain, “Woah, now. How is running into someone with a car, not a big deal?Why don’t you stand over there, and I run over you with a car?” “Mister Fulton, stop joking around.”Sienna glared at Yoel and attempted to hold Jace's arm, but he moved away.

Sienna’s hand hung awkwardly in mid-air, her face sunk in embarrassment. She saw Sage’s smugexpression and glared fiery at her. “Jace, we're a family now. Why make things awkward foreveryone? He's been really busy,and his health isn't the best now. Let's not trouble him.
