Sage's smile turned icy.

Luther understood immediately and snapped his fingers. “I see.”

She smiled at Freya, who was lying on the hospital bed, “Aunt Freya, take care and rest well! I'llavenge you soon!”

Freya smiled as a reply. Sage’s brothers were all talented people and stronger than her son. Sagedid not mind Freya's presence while speaking to Luther.

She sat on the chair by the bed and looked at Freya. “Aunt Freya, will you be angry with myruthlessness?”

Freya smiled and shook her head. She said, “I can only blame myself for being too kind back then. Ididn't crush the sly, cheating woman and allowed them to live happily for years. Now, they havebecome a threat and almost killed you.” She looked at Sage with an apologetic face. “I'm fine. Notmany can hurt me.” Sage smiled softly. A hint of sadness flashed across Freya's beautiful eyes. “Iknow. The one who has hurt you the most is standing right outside.”

She glanced sideways and saw the figure standing outside. Then, she held Sage’s hand and lookedat her deeply. “Sage, can you be honest with me? Is it completely impossible for Jace and you to getback together?”
