Laura and Sage exchanged glances expressing how little they trusted these two men before them.Kane and Jace had spent the entire day stalking them and were famished. As such, bothimmediately ordered a bunch of sashimi, rice bowls, and ramens.

Not long after, both men started feasting on the food.

Sage and Laura wanted to leave, but with the men blocking the entry, they could only sit there andwait until they were finished with their food. Sage and Laura could not help but feel that the foodwas not as good as they once thought it was.

Jace and Kane may seem elegant, but the speed at which they were consuming the food was quitealarming, “Why aren't you guys talking? You guys were having so much fun just now. Weren't youfeeding each other also? Continue doing your thing,” Kane said through his gritted teeth as hegulped down a big mouthful of rice. Sage and Laura could clearly decipher the resentment in histone. “Is he jealous of me, his own sister?’ thought Sage. Laura, on the other hand, completelymisunderstood Kane. “Kane, I know that you are overprotective of your own sister, but this is a bittoo much, don't you think? Are you jealous just because we were feeding each other? What are yougoing to do if we sleep together? asked Laura.

"You can't!” exclaimed both men simultaneously.

Their voice drew the attention of the other customers.

Sage and Laura immediately stared at the men for their impolite outburst.

“This is a public place, don't scream and make a fuss!” said Laura.

“I sleep with whomever I want. It has nothing to do with either of you!” said Sage. “Don’t you haveanything better to do?” said both of them.

Laura stood up and said, “Sage, let's go. The next round is on me!” “Let's go,” replied Sage Kane andJace immediately pushed their chairs back to block the pathway. Sage and Laura, of course, werenot going to let this stop them.

Laura placed a hand on Kane's chair and flipped over him without another word.

“Careful! Your waist...” exclaimed Kane.

On the other side, Sage tried to reason with Jace, “Excuse me, let me through.”

Jace did not move.

“What can she do? It's not like she could move me,” thought Jace to himself.

Sage pressed down on Jace's back and vaulted over his chair. Jace, who could not support Sage'sweight, fell face-first into the plate of sauce in front of him. When Sage saw the sauce drippingdown from every orifice of Jace’s face, she suddenly felt an unexplainable joy.

Laura also could not help but smirk as she put her arm around Sage and walked out of therestaurant.

Kane also could not help but laugh. Jace remained silent and took a few napkins to wipe his faceclean. After that, he paid the bill and stood up. “Let's go!” Both men followed suit without saying aword.
