Chapter 563

Sage gifted a thinner silk blanket to Freya.

"Aunt Freya, since I didn't have enough time to sew, I brought you one instead. You take it for now.I'll sew you a new one when I have time. Send me the design you'd like me to sew onto theblanket.”

Freya was pleased. “My daughter is the best. I sure will, thank you so much.” “No problem at all.”Sage smiled as she passed a gift to Wendy. “Aunt Wendy, the weather in Mostal is cold. Here's somemedicine patch for when your rheumatism acts up.”

Wendy accepted the gift gratefully.

Sage would always prepare a gift for Wendy whenever she gave Freya something. In other people'seyes, Wendy was just a servant. However, Sage was different. She treated and respected Wendy likeshe was any other elderly.

For that, Wendy was grateful. Wendy gave Sage a pair of leather pouches that she made herself.Sage was stunned. “This is?” Wendy uttered under her breath, “You're always carrying a knife withyou. It's sharp and dangerous. Put them into these pouches next time, it's safer.” It was not just aknife pouch but a gun pouch as well. Sage said happily, “Thank you, Aunt Wendy. I'll be sure to carrythem with me.” Freya and Wendy looked at Sage with concern in their eyes and exhorted, “Pleasetake care of yourself, don’t put yourself in dangerous situations, okay?” Sage was touched. “Don’tworry, I'll take care of myself.” Freya and Wendy left and went through the security while Rosslooked at Sage with concern written all over his face, too. “Will you be alright?” Sage dragged herwords, trying to persuade him, “Yesss, I'm a grown adult. Of course, I'll be able to take care ofmyself. I survived the past three years all alone, didn't I?” Ross scoffed lightly, “Yeah, right, youbarely made it out alive, though.” “Ross,” Sage called out.

“You're leaving. Can't you say something nicer to me.”

“My “something nicer’ to you is-" “Fly to Yathein as soon as possible and stay with Tim, okay?” Rosssaid as he pinched Sage’s ear.

Sage cried out in pain, "Okay, okay... You're hurting me!” “Good. How else will you remember what Isay to you?” Ross responded.

Sage rubbed her ear and glared defeatedly at Ross. Melody watched and laughed at Sage’s pain.Quest walked over with the boarding passes and said, “Master, the luggage has been checked in. It'stime to go.”

Ross hummed in response and took over the boarding passes as he pulled on Melody's arm.” Let'sgo."

"Goodbye, Aunt Sage, please take care! I'll sneak back here to visit you during the holiday.”

Ross pinched Melody's neck lightly and dragged her into the gate.

After sending off Ross and the rest, it was time for Sage to leave. Before she left, she had to stop bythe museum and say goodbye to her grandpa. The restoration project was going smoothly, andWayne finally found his happiness by doing the things he loved with his old friends.

Upon arriving at the museum, Sage could hear the noise of arguments. Sage knew without havingto guess that it was the three old men quarreling with each other. “Your grandson broke mygranddaughter’s heart, and now he wants her back? In his dreams!”
