Chapter 618 Soon, the sky went dark.

On the quiet island, only the weeping sound of a girl could be heard

Tim was hugging his sister in one hand. He did not coax her to stop, but allowed her to cry her heartout. His other hand with a cigar patted lightly on her back, like petting a kitten that was throwing itstantrum. Finally, she was done with the crying.

Sage looked up from her brother's shoulder, and looked at him with her teary eyes, “Why are youonly here after so long..” Her tears rolled down her blushed cheeks, her shoulders shudderinglightly, “I thought I would not see you anymore..."

Tim laughed slightly at her crying face, and said gently, “There, there, here I am...” Sage sobbed andsaid, “Right.”

Then she finally released her brother and stood on her feet.

Tim placed the cigar in his mouth, put his coat over Sage's shoulders, and wiped away the tearsunder her eyes, “You cried like a child.”

Sage stared at him and said, “You are a child!"

She could bicker with me, guess she was fine.

Tim's blue eyes were shining in delight, he took out a navy blue handkerchief from his pocket, andpassed it to Sage. Sage received it, wiped her eyes and nose, but her mouth was still pouting

Tim pinched her cheeks and said, “What a crybaby.” He passed the satellite phone to Sage, and said,“There, give home a call to calm down the monkeys.”

Sage took the phone obediently and dialed home. Kane and the rest almost went insane when theyheard her plane went missing. They were all almost boarding a plane to Yathein to look for Sage, but were all stopped by Tim. They were finally relieved to hear that Sage was safe. The cabin crewswere sent away by Tim's people, and the plane’s remains were retrieved from the Blue Sapphire Sea.Captain Yale was requested to provide a statement back at the airlines, and had to cooperate for theongoing investigations

Tim and Yale did not communicate much with each other. In fact, they seemed to not be close witheach other at all. Sage observed the two at the side, but could somehow tell that they had anindescribable bond and chemistry with each other despite the lack of interaction. .

Before leaving, Yale waved and bade goodbye to Sage, “Goodbye, Sage.” “Captain Yale,” Sage said, and looked into his grey eyes with purple sparkles, and said, “I will mail another copy of the book toyou, Love During War Time.”

“No need for that,” Yale suddenly patted his chest and smiled, “it is all in here.”

Sage was astounded, he kept the book on him?

Yale was then fetched away by his people. Tim raised his brows slightly, “Love During War Time?”Sage explained, “It was a book that I brought with me, I wanted to give it a re-read in flight. It gottaken away by Captain Yale.” Tim's sapphire blue eyes flickered, “Sages books are not forborrowing, are they?” “That's why I gifted it to him.” Sage said defiantly. Tim nodded his head andsaid, “Oh.” “Ah!” Sage suddenly exclaimed.

A

"What happened?”

Speaking of the book reminded her about something else. Tim frowned, this little girl was exactlylike how she used to be as a kid.
