Chapter 630

Madam Meyer was shocked, she turned around, only to see Tim striding over in the crowd's gazesHe was wearing a dark brown double breasted coat, a black checkered tie. His outfit complementedhis prominent facial features really well, he looked classically dashing too.

As soon as Catherine saw Tim, her attacking eyes suddenly went soft and gentle, her brows archinglike they were smiling too.

“Timothy...” She smiled and went forward; Tim's eyesight was however not diverted toward her forone single degree. He had his gaze fixated on only Sage, waved at her and said, “Come over.”

He looked calm, however Sage could tell there was a volcano hidden underneath his icy coldexpression, he was obviously mad.

Was he mad at Sage?

Sage's heart suddenly started racing

She walked over obediently, and said softly, “Tim, why are you here?” Tim was usually too busy toattend social events like this. “I am here to look for you,” Tim looked at her quietly, and said, "Hadtoo much fun?” “No...” Sage held her head down, she was scared if her brother nagged her out inpublic. She cared about her image too.

Tim did not want to lecture her in public too, and only said, “Home, now.”

"Okay." Sage The Good Girl followed his footsteps briskly, while Madam Meyer lifted her gown andchased behind them. She blocked in front of Tim, and said, “Timothy...”

Tim gently pulled Sage towards himself, manually distancing Sage from Madam Meyer, as thoughafraid that Sage got contracted with something filthy. He threw Madam Meyer a cold look, hissapphire blue eyes pierced through like a sharp knife carved out of ice.

"What's the matter, Madam Meyer?” His tone was distant, and formal. Madam Meyer was stabbedby his cold attitude, especially in front of Sage, she could only feel her cheeks burning.

“Do you really have to be so cold towards me?” Madam Meyer looked into Tim's eyes, hers filledwith angst and sadness. She cried, “All these years of relationship, and you...” “Please have some selfrespect, Madam Meyer,” Tim interjected coldly, “There was nothing in between us.”

He grabbed Sage and walked away from Madam Meyer. Madam Meyer looked at his silhouette thatwalked afar, she was both ashamed and offended,

her face was twitching, “Timothy Shelby!"

She did not care about the looks that people gave her, and shouted his name out loud.

"You ruined my life! Why did you do this to me! Why!" Tim still did not stop his footsteps for her.Right off the bat, he never gave her a single gaze, not even from the corner of his eyes.

Sage was quite surprised. Tim was a classic gentleman, even though he was cold, the basic mannerswere ingrained in him.

It was her first time to see such an attitude from him toward a woman, it was so distant, and almostdetesting.

Who was Madam Meyer? Why would she say her life was ruined by Tim?

Sage boarded the car with her head full of questions. Just when she was about to ask, Tim shot hera look to keep her silent.

His lips moved, and his tone was cold, “What were you trying to do?” “...” Sage was feeling guilty, “1wasn't trying to do anything, I was just out for fun.” “You were parading through the city everydaylike a peacock, you call this for fun?”

Tim was sarcastic.

Sage muttered, “Only the male peacocks spread their feathers...” Tim sounded more stern, “Are youtrying to teach me about common sense now?"
