Yale glanced in Luther's direction because Luthier was talking too much,

Luther ignored Yale's meaningful gaze. He only paid attention to Jace and saw his eyes narrowed.“Oh, so you didn't know.”

Luther went over and pressed the button for the elevator

Jace rushed forward. “Is Sage really coming back today?” “Yeah I'm on my way to pick her up.”Luther glanced at his watch. “Oh, we've got to hurry. She'll be there in forty minutes. Sage wants tosee Jekyll get on the plane.”

When the door to the elevator opened, Yale and Jace got in at the same time and almost bumpedtheir shoulders.

They looked at each other and apologized in a low voice.

Luther glanced up at them, feeling strange. After getting out of the elevator, Yale got into Luthier'scar. Meanwhile, Jace got into his car.

Zayne had brought a lot of people with him just in case.

Soon, a convoy of cars headed for the airport.

Sage was still flying in the sky she would usually sleep on the flight, but not today. She could notsleep and dared to sleep either.

Her eyes were wide open and bright.

Senior Shelby’s private plane was very luxurious. It was larger and more comfortable than Sage'sprivate plane. Senior Shelby’s plane was equipped with leather sofas and chairs, a TV, a mini bar,and everything else. It was just like at home.

"What's wrong?” Seth took three glasses from the bar and brought a bottle of champagne over. Helooked at Sage, “Don’t you usually sleep on the flight to pass your time? Why are you so energetictoday?

“I couldn't sleep.” Sage said thoughtfully, “Maybe I miss home.” Tim snorted and took thechampagne from Seth. He sniffed the aroma and said faintly, “You might as well say once bitten,twice shy.” Seth could not help but laugh. “I think so too.”

Sage drank a sip of the champagne and pressed her lips in annoyance. “You don't have to say it outloud. Who wouldn't feel traumatized?”

Tim and Seth chuckled and said in unison, “It's rare to see you afraid of something.”

Sage was rendered speechless. She grunted at her brother's provocation and ignored them.

Even the strongest person will get scared sometimes, let alone an ordinary beautiful woman likeher.

However, when Sage thought about it again, she was fearless as a young child. She was very activeand naughty. She was confident that her parents and brother would be there for her even if she gotinto trouble.

Sage leaned against the window, looking at the large white clouds and the view of the block likehouses below. Suddenly, she felt a little empty She was getting close to home, but why was shefeeling restless? Jace and Yale were waiting at the airport. The police group was not there yet. Theymight be stuck in traffic.

Luther checked the time and said, “We arrived early. Sage and the rest will land in fifteen minutes.They'll be here soon.”

Yale nodded softly Jace gave Zayne a look Zayne understood and went to deploy the staff.

Jace sat in the waiting room waiting for Sage. The thought of seeing Sage soon made his heart soar.His palms were sweating from being nervous and happy at the same time.

“By the way, Yale.” Luther challed with Yale casually, “Didn’t you come back to pay respect to yourancestors? Are your family still in Gemfield?”

Jace was equally curious and glanced up at Yale.

Yale answered with a faint hum, “II's rare for us to be back. My family will stay in Gemfield for awhile. I'll go back to Tovres to finish my business first and then come back.”

Jace's heart tightened. Would Yale be back again? “That's good, but it's too much work for you"Luther felt bad for himn “When you return, I'll have to treat you to a meal with Tim, Sage, and therest. We'll have Sage cook for you personally. She's good at cooking.”

Yale smiled gently. “It'll be a good meal.” Jace narrowed his eyes. How could be eat Sage's cooking!Jace had only tried Sage’s cooking a few times. As they were chatting, Jace's phone suddenly rang,followed by two rings from Yale's phone. Cole was calling Jace answered the call and heard a loud,deafening bang on the other end.
