Chapter 734 After the meeting, Sage led her assistants to the CEO's office. As soon as she steppedinto the office, she stopped at the door.

She had never been to Jace's office, so she did not know what it looked like. It should be similar tohis study with a masculine monotone palette... right?

Her new office was different from her expectation. It was similar to her office in Norah Group. It wasdecorated in an antique style with mahogany tables, chairs, and paintings that could be seen on thewall. There was also a wine cooler and a pair of slippers in the office.

Sage turned to Zayne, “Assistant Zayne, did you do this for me?”

Zayne folded his hands and nodded slightly. “Yes. Time was limited, so I had someone come overand put up the wallpaper made with environmentally friendly materials. I got this mahogany table,chairs, and coffee table from the furniture shop. As for the paintings on the wall, I requested thecalligraphy from Wayne and the painting from Mister Mendoza. These other few paintings are myhumble works. I put them up to fill the space. If you don't like it, I'l have them removed.”

“Did you paint this?" Sage walked in, took off her high heels, and put on the slippers. She put herhands in her pockets and took a closer look at the two paintings on the wall.

Zayne glanced back and gave Henry and Zachary a look. They continued to set up what they had todo, while Zayne walked up to Sage in small steps.

“Yes, I did. After I worked with Mister Jace, I learned to appreciate art more. I also enrolled in an artschool and learned to paint for a few years. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to comment on thepaintings upon Mister Jace's request.”

Zayne tucked his hand with a smile. He became a little nervous when he saw Sage staring at thepainting for a long time without saying a word.

“As compared to you, my painting skills are at most at the basic level. I'm sure we'll come acrossnicer paintings soon. I'll take it down right away and not let them be an eyesore for you.

"No, keep it.” Sage finally spoke and looked at Zayne. “Assistant Zayne, you're talented.” Zayne wasconfused. Was it a praise or a critique if it came from her?

Sage was praising him. Sage finally understood why a man as bad-tempered as Jace could keepZayne by his side for that many years. Zayne's attention to detail and thoughtfulness were a greatexample to other assistants. Sage took out her phone and took two photos of Zayne’s paintings.Then, she sent them to Hunter.

While Zayne went out to make some work arrangements, Louis worked and fixed some projectdetails on the presentation. Sage gestured to Henry and Zachary and summoned them over. “Bothof you look good in a suit. You look presentable.”

Zachary squatted in front of Sage and kept chirping like a chatterbox. “We wanted to learn fromJace before, but he thought we were too stupid to understand anything. He was always mean to us,so we didn’t want to work with him anymore.”

Sage patted his head and said with a smile, “I'm probably worse than your big brother.” Zachary wasconfused and shocked. He stuttered, “R-really?” Zachary got up silently, stood up straight, andbehaved himself.
