A Relentless Pursuit for Love -
Chapter 745
Chapter 745 Yale simply pulled into a smile. Was she hard to handle?
Yale thought that it was not too bad.
He even found Sage adorable.
“That's about it.”
Sage looked at the x-ray films and said, “Good. He's recovering better than I expected.”
She then asked, “What did your master say?”
Quest replied, “Master said the same thing as you. Recovering doesn’t take only one or two days. It's a marathon and we have to do it slowly. The patient also has to have a strong and positivementality to go through this and he would need someone to take care of him.” Sage lookedconflicted. “I can’t free up a lot of time and I won't be able to keep him company during the physiosessions. Do you have anyone else in mind?” Quest replied, “I have several people in mind. Melodyalso wants to go to town. She's been complaining that there's nothing else to do at Mostal.” Sageraised her brows. “Isn’t Yoel here at Mostal? Why is there nothing else to do?” “Because he left. Andthat is why Melody wants to leave Mostal.” “Let her come then.” Sage added, “She'd only causetrouble in Mostal staying there. Let her help out instead. I don’t know anything else but Melody canbe a good caretaker.” Quest smiled. “Sure, I'll have her and the rest come over then.”
“Aright."
Sage left the office and just when she was about to get Luther, she caught a glimpse of a familiarsilhouette in the hallway. “Jim?”
Jim, in his basketball attire, hopped on one leg with two of his teammates supporting him, and hisforehead was covered in sweat. At the sight of Sage, he froze.
It was a long time since both of them saw each other.
Jim pulled into a smile. “Sage.” “What happened to your leg?” Sage walked over to him, andcrouched down, wanting to check his leg.
Jim pulled back his leg and said, “It's nothing big. I must have sprained it during training.”
Sage noticed his swollen ankles. “It could be a tear in the ligament. Come to the consulting roomand I'll have a look.”
Quest already went to check up on other patients. When taking off his shoes, Jim inhaled sharplyand frowned. Sage was not gentle to him at all. “Look at how swollen it is, why did you only comenow? Do you want to lose your foot for good?”
Jim's teammates said, “Exactly. We told him to come to have it checked when he sprained it. But heinsisted on finishing the game.” “We don't even know what's wrong with him today. After checkinghis phone earlier, his head wasn't in the game. We guessed that he must have broken up.” Sagelooked up at Jim. “You're dating?”
Jim shot his eyes wide open. Shaking his hands and head frantically, he denied, “No no no!” He thenshot a deathly glare at his teammates. “What are you guys going on about? Do you want to gethit?” His teammates immediately kept quiet. Sage was slightly startled by Jim's sudden intimidatingbehavior but quickly chuckled. She thought that Jim, who was usually tame, turned wild.
