Chapter 847 Sienna was shocked to the core. It was as if she was struck by lightning.

She attended Jace's funeral. How was he possibly still alive? He stood right in front of her.

She knew Jace's face like the back of her hand. It was impossible that she would mistake him forsomeone else. It was just simply impossible.

It was him! It was him!

"Jace..."

Sienna called out to Jace and was about to make her way to where he stood but she was stopped inher tracks by the young lady that was still feeling pissed.

“Where do you think you're going? Don't even think of leaving here before this thing is settledbetween us!” Ladies from Salem City were notorious for their hot temper.

Sienna still had her gaze glued on Jace but Jace did not even look at her.

Jace had his eyes fixated on Sage. It was as if he could only see Sage and no one else.

“Sage,” Jace called out to her softly, “Is everything okay?” Sage looked at him. “Yeah. You guysshould head in first.”

Jace listened well to her and headed inside the restaurant with Yoel. He was aware that Sage wouldbe okay as this area was her turf.

He might cause her trouble instead if he insisted on staying.

Most importantly, he did not want to upset or get on the wrong side of Sage.

Sage could not do anything aside from seeing Jace walking away from her. She tried calling out tohim again.

That was when Sage commented, “Mister Dave, seems to me like this secretary of yours isn’tsensible.”

Seeing how Sienna was not able to take her eyes off some other man, Dave felt irritation pulsingthrough his veins. And upon Sage’s remarks, his face darkened immediately.

He pulled Sienna roughly and scowled, “You better behave yourself! Don't you dare humiliate me infront of everyone!”

Sienna flinched in fear. After all, he was her boss and she did not dare to anger him.

The young lady that was pissed off by Sienna mocked, “So you're working for him as his secretary?Seeing how you're calling him “honey’ earlier, I bet you're his mistress, huh?” The young lady'sboyfriend tried to stop her, “Stop it...” “Why? Did I say anything wrong! It's the truth, isn't it?” Furyovercame Sienna as she trembled with rage. She hated the fact that she was humiliated in front ofSage.

“What are you talking about? He is my boyfriend. What's wrong with calling him, honey?”

Sienna put her arms around Dave's as if she tried to assert dominance.

However, Dave's clients started clearing their throats awkwardly, looking away, as they exchangedglances with each other. Of course, they knew who Dave's wife was.

They even met Dave's wife

"Ah, boyfriend,” Sage nodded and added, “when did you remarry again? You should have informedme and I would have sent you congratulatory gifts.” “No, no, no...” Dave denied it frantically. Hethen pushed away Sienna’s arms awkwardly. “Don't listen to her. If my wife knows about this, I'll beas good as dead.”

His response confirmed the fact that Sienna was his mistress. Customers who were in the queuestarted whispering and discussing amongst each other as they threw shady looks at Sienna. “I knewthat she was a mistress. Just look at how she behaves.”

"And she had the nerves to shove it in our face and say that she planned to give her husband asurprise. Pft, she simply lined up because her boss asked her to. Ridiculous, ain“t it?"
