Lucas looked at Roy with a stern face and sharp eyes. “You're just a doctor. You don't even make thesame amount as Freya in a year. Do you own a car or property in Nadeem City? How much moneydo you have in your savings? Do you have enough to provide her with a good life? I've seen a lot ofmen who would leech on to women, but aren't you embarrassed to do this at such an age?”

Sage frowned hard at Lucas's words. She wondered how he had the nerve to say such words. To her,Lucas was the worse leech.

“I don't mind. Why would I be embarrassed?”

Roy was not mad at Lucas at all. “I'm just a doctor, and I'm no longer young. I don't have a car, and Ican't even drive. I don't have any property, but I have a small bamboo house on the mountain. IfFreya doesn't want to come to Mostal with me, I'll move in with her. It's fine as long as I can staywith her. As for money, I have enough to spend. I don't spend much except for snacks, and I havebad teeth, so I can't eat anything too hard. I can only eat soft food. I'll leech on to Freya for the restof my life.” Roy took Freya's arm and looked at her with clear eyes. “Do you dislike me?” Freya couldnot stop laughing. “You gave me your entire fortune worth hundreds of millions. I can afford to takecare of you for the rest of your life.”

“That's great.” Roy looked pleased.

Lucas looked at the two smiling at each other. He felt he had drifted far away from Freya's world forthe first time. In the end, he was the clown.

Freya did not bother with Lucas anymore. She returned to the house holding hands with Roy aftertelling him to get lost.

Lucas needed to talk to Jace.

Sage gave Lucas a cold glance and refused to say a word to him. She followed Freya and Roy intothe house too.

Jace escorted Lucas out. When Lucas arrived at the entrance, he swayed a little and almost fell. Heheld on to the door frame to steady himself.

"Do you need the ambulance?” Jace asked indifferently. He did not step forward to help.

Lucas waved his hand. At the same time, the phone in his pocket kept vibrating. He wanted toignore it. When he took it out and had a look, he saw that it was Luna who was calling. He simplyrejected the call.

Jace saw his action. “You'd better answer it. After all, she’s pregnant with your son in her belly. She'svery precious now.”

The phone rang again, so Lucas turned off the phone. Lucas looked up and glanced at Jace. Heraised his hand and tried to touch his face, but Jace dodged him. Jace frowned. “We don't have toact like some loving father and son. It's too hypocritical. Just be straightforward and say what youwant to say.”

Lucas looked at him sincerely. “I'm happy and relieved that you're still alive.”

Tace said, “You can stop it. I'm not your only son. However, you better raise your baby son well. Afterall, he'll be the Spencer family’s only lineage. Raise him so he can care for you when you get old.”Lucas seemed to be taken aback by this sentence and frowned. His voice became a little deepertoo.

"Don’t worry. I didn't do my duty as a father. Naturally, I won't make you responsible for me in myold age.” Jace raised his brow. “Good. That's the best for me.”

As he turned to leave, Lucas stopped him."Son!" “Anything else?” Lucas had a look of reluctance inhis eyes. “Is your mom and that Duncan guy serious?”

Jace was amused by the question and smiled, but his wicked smile looked very cold in the night.“What do you think?”
