Chapter 877

"We come to share your happiness.” Jace stiled gently and said to Sage, “You look very beautifultoday.” Sage was wearing a sapphire blue velvet-wrapped dress today. She tied her hair up into ahigh ponytail that emphasized the beauty of lier long and straight neck, toned and lean shoulder, and collarbone. Other than a pair of pearl earrings, she did not wear any other jewelry. Despite that, she looked like she was glowing like a princess from fairy tales, so elegant and noble.

Since she arrived at the celebration party, she has received numerous compliments. However, awoman would never reject any compliments she received. Thus she accepted the compliment fromJace happily, “Thank you.” Yoel disagreed and said, “Geez. You really don't know how to socialize.Sage is always so beautiful.”

Jace gave Yoel a disdainful look. “Yes, you know it very well.”

"Of course,” Yoel gloated. Then he looked at Jace and Sage again, “Oh my. Someone is wearing ablue color suit too. Did you both do it on purpose? Dressing up together like a couple's outfit?

“Of course not!” Sage did not know Jace was coming today. “But...we really do look very matchingwith his blue suit and my dress.’

It was like they had already planned ahead of time on what to wear. Moreover, Jace had worn a pairof pearl cuffs to complete his outfit today. It looked very familiar, like a birthday present Sage gaveit to him a few years ago.

Sage did not know he was still keeping the birthday present. She thought he had lost it ormisplaced it somewhere. As she was thinking, Jace took out a rectangular velvet gift box from hispocket and passed it to Sage. “This is for you.”

Sage was stunned, “What is it?"

"A gift. Open it,” He said calmly. Sage did as she was told. She opened it and saw it contained ahairpin. It was silver in color with two flowers engraved together, a blue color flower and a red colorflower. The pattern was very intricate and exquisite and the skill of the engraving was very skillfulWith just a look, Sage knew her grandpa had engraved it. “My grandpa did this?” Sage was notsurprised. Jace was astonished by Sage’s judgment. “That's right. I drew the pattern out and found agood piece of raw material. Then I requested Grandpa Wayne to help with the engraving. He evenscolded me for creating trouble for him.” Sage gazed at the pattern of the hairpin intensively. “You...drew this by yourself?” “Great!” Yoel responded first, “How dare you say such a lie just to make Sagehappy? Anyway, I don't believe it. Do you believe it, Sage?” Then he took a look at Sage andimmediately said no more.

Obviously, Sage believed Jace was the one who drew it. However, Sage would not believe it if Jacehad told her this previously. Ever since she knew Jace was the one who imitated The Starry Night, hisdrawing skill was at the professional level in her heart. If Jace could imitate The Starry Night, thepattern of this hairpin was just a piece of cake to Jace.

“The drawing is quite rough. I hope you don't mind.” It was the first time Jace attempted drawing apattern for such a small object. He was not very confident with himself.

Sage answered, “It looks quite good.”

After that, she took the hairpin out of the gift box. Due to the silver material, it felt quite chilly andheavy. She tried to put it onto her hair. “Let me help you.” Jace volunteered and took the hairpinfrom her hand. Then he personally pinned the hairpin onto her hair. It matched very well with Sage'soutfit, as if it was part of the outfit.

Sage lowered her head, and her cheek was blushing shyly. Yoel was stunned when he saw it. He hada feeling like he had suddenly become the third wheel. “Should I go?’ He took a sip of thechampagne and looked in another direction, where he saw a pretty girl standing not far away. Shewas chatting happily with Dean. Yoel narrowed his eyes until they looked like a pair of lines.
