The cab pulls up into the loading zone to let me out. The driver gets out to help me with my bag."Thank you!" I say, handing him a tip and giving a slight wave. I walk into the airport and headstraight for the baggage check-in. "Hello Miss, where are we flying to today?" the guy behind thecounter asks. "New York. I already bought a ticket, but I need to fly out as soon as possible," I toldhim. "Okay, that's no problem. We can switch you to the flight that leaves in 20 minutes, and it's notfull. It will be terminal 22. You can have a seat in that section, and they will announce it soon,” theclerk directs, handing me the ticket. "Thank you," I tell him and walk to the designated section,taking a seat.

Malachi's POV

I shoved the front door with so much force it falls off its hinges. All the people that came for thebaby's announcement stand there with their eyes wide. I rush my father, slamming him against thewall, picking him up by the collar. "If she leaves and never returns, I will kill you without evenblinking, old man!!" I shout. My father stares at me in shock and in fear, which I've never seen in mylife. I drop him like the trash that he is and walk off. Everyone looks at me in horror.

"GET THE HELL OUT!" I growl, and they scatter, rushing out the door. Someone grabs my shoulderand I turn around, grabbing the person by the throat, choking the life out of them before I see PaulI let go and watch as he gasps for air, holding his neck. "I'm sorry Paul I didn't know it was you," Iadmit. "Man, what has gotten into you. You're acting crazy?" He says in a raspy tone because Ialmost crushed his larynx. "My father told Chloe she was just a human and not good enough to be aLuna. She left me,” I declare. "What?!" He yells in a whisper. "I'm going after her,” I say when Ameliawalks in, looking confused to see the door torn off, and the crowd is gone.

"Where is Chloe," she asks, looking around. "She left for the airport because of him. He said she wasacting like a child, which is why we have never had a human Luna," I tell her while pointing at myfather aggressively. Amelia looks in his direction, and I can see the fire in her eyes. She is pissed. Shelunges at my father, but Paul grabs her before she reaches him. She is inches away from his face,ready to rip his throat out and I could care less at this point. I'd let her.

I turn to leave when Amelia“s voice stops me. "Where are you going?” she asks. "To get Chloe," Istate. "I'm coming with you,” she demands and follows me with Paul at her Heels. We all get in thecar and drive away. I pull up to the no parking area and get out running to the entrance.

"Hey!, you can't park there, sir.” The security shouts. "Tow it. I don't give a FUCK!" I yell back, and Ikeep running. I rush around the airport looking frantically everywhere she is nowhere. I lean againstthe wall and slump down to the floor, putting my head in my hands. "Malachi, are you okay?" Paulasks. "NO!" I snap. "I know you're hurting, but I know she will come back. She loves you," Paul tellsme. "You didn't see the hurt in her eyes,” I tell him sadly. “Well then, you never stop fighting for her,Malachi," Paul says.

"I won't stop, till the day I die,” I reply. I feel so empty walking out of the airport without my Luna.Chloe POV

I look through my phone, wanting to call Marley to let her know I'll be boarding soon, but theyannounce my flight before I can. I stand walking to the door entrance and hand the flight attendantmy ticket. She gives me the go ahead to enter the plane.

I take my seat to see I have several missed calls from Amelia and Malachi. I ignore them and put myheadphones in my ears. The plane starts to take off and I remember just how much I hate flying. Ican feel myself starting to get nauseated, so I close my eyes and see Malachi's face, his soft lips andhis beautiful smile, and then my mind goes to his ripped body covered in all those unique tattoos.My lady parts immediately start to tingle. “Damn it, Chloe! Stop it! Don't think about that stuff,’ Iscold myself, but I can't help it. I keep seeing his large hands all over my body. Damn it!!...

Once the seatbelt sign goes off, I rush to the restroom. I step in and lock the door. I stand with myback against the wall, lifting my dress to get it out of my way. I'm so wet it drips down my legs, so Itake two fingers and insert them inside. While using my thumb to rub my clit, I close my eyes againto get my visions back. Bringing forth the day in the shower where he told me in his deep Alphavoice, he would make me scream.

I was fingering myself faster and faster, and it was like an atomic bomb went off., "OOH FUCK!!!" Iscreamed out in release. "Miss, is everything okay in there?" A flight attendant asks, knocking on thedoor. "Yes, I'm fine. I smashed my finger on my seat lid," I lied. “Shit, how do you forget you're on adamn plane,’ I tell myself. "Okay, just checking,” The attendant says.I wash my hands and casuallywalk back to my seat. I put my head against the window, and slept for the rest of the flight.

I landed, and I called Marley to let her know I was here. I sat on a bench outside, waiting patiently,when my phone started to ring. "Hello?" I mumble. "Chloe, why have you been ignoring my calls?"Amelia says furiously. "I needed some time, okay," I say. "Chloe, he came after you, but it was toolate. And before that, he threatened his father. He said he would kill him; that's how much he lovesyou," she states.

"Oh my gosh!" I say in utter disbelief. “He would harm his own father for me. I'm so stupid to havelistened to his father.” "Amelia, I'm sorry. I let my emotions get the best of me," I tell her. "It's okay,but you should call him to let him know you're okay. He is worried since you weren't answering."She tells me. "Okay, I will," and we hang up.

I bring Malachi's name up on my phone, and it rings only a second before he answers. "Luna! You'reokay! I was so worried,” he says. "I'm fine. I landed in New York. I'm waiting for my sister to come toget me now," I explain. "I'm so sorry for my father, Luna. He has always had a hatred for humans. Idon't know why," He tells me. "I don't care what he says, Malachi. I just got emotional; my hormonesare all over the place right now," I exclaim. "I was so scared I would never see you again." He sayswith so much emotion in his voice. "You will never lose me Malachi, I love you so much I shouldhave known that you would protect me no matter what.” I declare, feeling so guilty for the way Itreated him before I left.

"I love you more than you will ever know, Luna. When will you be back?" He asks. "I'll be backSunday because I miss you already,” I tell him when I see my sister pull up. "My sister just got hereMalachi. I will text you later. I love you!” I tell him sweetly. "I love you too, my gorgeous Luna," Hesays softly, and I end the call.

Kali, Claire, and Kaden all run towards me with huge smiles on their faces. "Aunt Chloe!!!" they allsay at once. "OMG! you guys are so big now," I claim. "Hey, you," Marley says, walking from behindher kids. I met her halfway, and we hugged so tight that I couldn't breathe, but I didn't care. "Let'sget home," Marley says, wrapping her arm around my shoulder, leading me to her minivan.

We pull into the driveway and her house looks so cozy. I step out, looking around, then we walkinside. I step into the kitchen with Marley while the little kids go and play before bedtime. Kali walksin, sitting down at the table. "Hey, sweetie, how are you feeling?" I ask, sitting down with her. "I'mokay, Aunt Chloe, it's hard, you know," She says with a sad look on her face. "I know, it will getbetter, I promise. After Grandma and Grandpa passed it was tough, but it got better because I foundpeople that I needed in my life," I tell her.

"Thanks, Aunt Chloe!" she says with a smile. "I'm here for you always, okay, Kali." I promise, pullingher into a hug. "I know. Well, I better get some rest. I'll see you in the morning and love you!" Kalisays and walks to her room.

I turn to see Marley doing the dishes. "Hey, you want some help?” I ask. "If you want to dry,” shesays, so I stand and walk over to help her. "How are you doing, Marley?" I question. "I'm good.There has been so much going on with Kali and then with William getting killed she has beenheartbroken, but she is strong, and she will get through this,” Marley claims, proudly. "Yes, she will. Iknow it. Plus, she is going to be my pregnant buddy,” I say casually, looking at her face for areaction. She doesn't say anything at first, and then she catches it.

Marley turns quickly towards me, her head almost spinning all the way around. "WHAT?! OMG!You're not joking, don't do that to me, Chloe" She cries. "I'm not Joking. I promise, I'm not as faralong as Kali, but we will still be pregnant together,” I tell her, and she looks at me and just breaksdown crying. "Chloe, I'm so happy for you!" she hugs me. Then pulls away, holding me at myshoulders. "So, who is this mystery, man?" She asks. "His name is Malachi, and I'm so in love withhim," I say with such a big smile on my face, my sister giggles. “I can tell by the way you say that"She laughs. "We are engaged, too," I tell her. "Oh, wow! so soon?" She says. "We know we want tobe with each other,” I explain. Marley stares for a second, then smiles. "Congratulations!" bringingme in for another hug.

"Let's get you to your room. I bet you're tired from your flight and having to fly out again tomorrownight you need to rest,” She tells me. I give her a heartfelt smile and follow her to a room in theback of the house. She opens the door and helps me put my bags down. "I'll see you in themorning. If you need anything, we are down the hall,” She says, then kisses my forehead. "I love you,baby sister,” she says, then walks out. I sit down on the bed and fall back, completely exhausted. Ifall asleep without even changing.

I wake up to the sound of kids running in the halls and then notice that Malachi has called a fewtimes. I dial him back. "Good morning, Luna! How did you sleep?" He asks. "I was so tired I fellasleep in my dress," I laugh. Malachi laughs too. "I wish I was there with you," He says. "Me too,cause then I wouldn't have had to finger myself on the plane and pretend that you were touchingme," I say laughing.

"You what?!" He says with surprise in his voice. "I started thinking about the night in the shower, andI got so wet I couldn't help it,” I admit. "FUCK! Luna, now you got me hard." He declares. "Well, youare going to have to ask lefty or righty to help you out until I get back,” I say, laughing. "You oweme big time,” He laughs. "I'll make it worth it, I promise,” I reply seductively. "Okay, I will wait foryour sexy ass to get back," He declares. "I love you. I need to go help my sister cook," I give a kissthrough the phone. And we hang up.

I walk to the kitchen to see Ben at the table and the kids watching TV in the living area. Kali's at theisland, helping stir the pancake mix. I walk to the island and sit down next to her. "Good morning!" Isay. "Hey, you're awake!" Kali says, smiling. "So, did your mom tell you yet?" I ask Kali. "Tell mewhat?" she says, looking between Marley and me. "I am having a baby, too," I smile. "NO WAY!! Thisis so awesome! Our babies will be friends" she squeals. I just laugh and hug her tight. "We are in thistogether," I tell her, smiling.

"I need to see a picture of the daddy," Kali says, laughing. I open my phone and show her a picture Ihave of Malachi. It's one that I took when he was shirtless and caught him off guard. He looks sosexy. "What?! This is your boyfriend, Aunt Chloe?" Kali's mouth is wide open. "Hey, calm yourhormones, he's mine!" I laugh. We both start laughing.

"Mom, come, look at Aunt Chloe's man. He is fine" She giggles like a schoolgirl and all I can do issmile. "Damn, sister, how did you replace that?" Marley says, fanning herself and Ben looks over, givingher a look. "Oh honey, you know I only have eyes for you,” Marley says to Ben, then looks at me andwhispers, "he is so hot!" I laugh.

We spend the rest of the day at the park letting the kids play as we talk about Mom and Dad andhow dad was such a prankster and the time when mom almost burnt down the house. We justlaugh. We make it back to the house, and I grab my things so Marley can take me to the airport.

At the Airport terminal, Marley starts to cry, and I pull her into a hug. "Hey, don't cry, I'll see yousoon,” I told her. "I wish we were closer,” She states. “I know me too,” I say. “Terminal 34 is departingplease proceed to the designated area.” They say over the intercom. We hug one more time and saygoodbye.

Tears start to fall, but I wipe them away and walk to the gate. Once I'm on the plane, I lean my headto look out the window and let out a soft sigh. I look down at the picture of Malachi I showed myfamily and thought I can’t wait to be in his strong arms again.

The flight feels like it took forever. I slept for over half of it. Once we enter the airport terminal, Ihead for baggage claims. I am calling Malachi at the same time, not paying attention to mysurroundings. "Hey, beautiful! Are you here?" He asks with excitement. "Yeah, I just landed. Can youpick me up?" I ask “Of course, Luna I'll be right there,” He says. "You better hurry. I miss you, and Iwon't be able to make it to the packhouse. I plan on fucking you in the car,” I say in a whisper. All Ihear is screeching tires. I laugh and we hang up.

I walk outside to wait for Malachi there. I stand close to the curb. It shouldn't take him long. He isnot far from here. I pull out my phone to text Marley that I made it when a hand covers my mouth,causing me to drop my phone, and someone shoves me into a car.
