Alpha Rick
Chapter 33

Livie

You could say that Alarick is an old soul. He's too mature for his age and too smart for his own good. But by the end of the day, we are still just young eighteen years old, and that makes us still teens. Hormonal teens, to be precise. Because yes, he soon will be nineteen, just days before his birthday, but he is still a teen.

I have never understood why we werewolves place a newly turned eighteen-year-old in charge of a pack. I mean, it is a lot of pressure, full of responsibility. And when I say a lot of responsibility, I mean A LOT of responsibility. You are not only responsible for the pack's well-being but the territory's safety, the entire pack's finances, their health, and everything.

Unfortunately, a lot of alpha's take this as a free pass to act like entitled assholes who go around pushing everyone aside, and treating them like garbage.

I'm glad I was mated to a great guy because Ricky is the total opposite of this. He seems ruthless and goes around with an angry-looking face all the time, but I know better. He's my Ricky. The protector and loving alpha to the Dark Moon wolves. And I love him. This morning, we got up super early and did our normal routine. We showered together while laughing, joking, and talking together. Always visit Ebookex.com for more novels and updates. I still couldn't believe we are married. I always knew once I turned eighteen I'd be old enough to sense the presence of my mate if I found him, which didn't go so well of course because I found I was mated to Skylar. But when I found Ricky...Goddess, his scent. His aura and his scent were more than enough for me to know I was finally safe. I was glad I got a second chance with Ricky. Not many she-wolves get a second chance mate.

After we showered, we went and got dressed in our workout clothes and got ready to meet everyone for an early breakfast. I gotta say, I am so glad Alpha Noah and his wife were a no-show. I would have cringed at the sight of them.

I sat at my vanity, combing my hair as I placed it in a tight ponytail. I was wearing light makeup, with dark blue and purple colored leggings, a matching sports bra, and a matching jacket. "Ready to go fill that tummy, baby?" Ricky asks, placing his hands on my shoulders as he stood behind me.

I smiled, turning around and wrapping my arms around his waist, "I am. I'm so hungry." I say, looking up and smiling at him. He smiles back and places a kiss on my lips. "Then let's go get some food, Mrs. Dannelly," he says, extending his arm out for me. Mrs. Dannelly, it sounded so right. I loved the sound of my new last name on his lips.

I got up, grabbed his hand and we made our way out together, toward the dining room.

"What do you think Luna Leah will say about the room you chose for her?" Ricky asked, making me chuckle. "Knowing her... She's probably fascinated and envious all at the same time. I gave her a nice view. Plus I set her in one of the rooms with its own hot tub. But to be honest, I gave her that specific room simply because it was the farthest from us." I say, making him chuckle.

Yes, she was a guest here, as are many of the other alphas and lunas that stayed behind. But that didn't mean I wanted her close to me. So, I gave her the farthest room on the third floor from us. What I did indulge in was giving Evelyn one of the smallest rooms in the omegas wards.

I mean, I know my girls are well taken care of. Ricky and I have made sure to take care of any needs the omegas have, and that includes their rooms. They are pretty big if you ask me. Hell, their rooms are as big as my whole kitchen, dining, and living room back in my old house at the silver moon pack. So, she should not be complaining.

Regardless, I have a feeling they will complain about something. They always do... It's their way of showing off to everyone else. Acting as if they are high all mighty and better than everyone else. They grew up thinking they have priority over everyone, no matter their rank, so it's needless to say I have to talk to my girls and make sure to be let themselves be pushed around by either one of them.

"Well, as long as she and that other girl cause you no trouble. Still- I'll make sure to tell the girls to keep a lookout and I'll have Tate stay near you." Ricky says, almost as if he was reading my mind.

"Damn right. She needs to realize you are both in the same rank now, Livie. Put her ass in her place." Freya says, making me chuckle. "No need for ruthlessness Freya. But if needed, I will make sure I stick up for myself the time." I say to Freya, making her wag her tail happily.

DOTHIRD PERSON POVI

-An hour before-

"Leah, are you awake?" Evelyn chirped at Leah's door, waiting to get a response. The door jolts open with a happy-looking Leah. She still couldn't believe her eyes. The room that they had placed her in was huge and filled with luxurious furniture. She spent almost the entire night complaining to Skylar and comparing things to the room she had back home. (wait until she sees Livie's room)

She had already made an endless list of things she wanted to be changed back home, starting from knocking down walls and making her room the biggest in the pack.

"Evelyn, oh my god... Come in. Look at this! Do you see this? Look at this place?" she says, opening the door wider and letting Evelyn in. Evelyn's eyes open wide and her mouth gawks openly as she takes in the view. The room, they had placed Leah and Skylar in was easily twice the size they placed her in.

She was instantly filled with jealousy, but she was not going to make it evident to Leah. "Oh my god, Leah! This room is huge!" she gasps, looking out the sliding doors and seeing the view. "You have your own hot tub and deck? What? Why didn't I get a room like this one? They gave me a shitty room with a view of the mountains, but I do have access to a pool though. Ugh, not fair. Do you think they will mind if we use their pool?" she says, crossing her hands.

Leah laughs, going to the basket she found last night and grabbing the perfume she found inside. She smells it and immediately moans as she is filled with a sweet floral aroma. "Oh, this smells so heavenly!" she says, spraying some on her neck. "Let me smell that?" Evelyn says, grabbing the perfume and smelling it.

"Holy shit. This smells so good." Evelyn says as she moans too, spraying some on her wrist. "Don't use my perfume. It's mine." Leah says grabbing it away. Evelyn rolls her eyes, looking at the other stuff in the basket. "Oh, chocolate-covered strawberries. Can I have one?" she asks as she grabs one out of the box. "Yes, but only one. And that's because your dirty hands already touched it." Leah says irritatingly.

The basket had expensive lotions, shower gels, perfumes, the chocolate-covered strawberries, and other things, along with gift cards they could use to dine out and use around the restaurants inside their premises while they were visiting.

After Evelyn was done looking around Leah's room, they both made their way out to the dining room.

Skylar had left early in the morning before sunrise to meet with Zane. He wanted to train with them and wanted to start by seeing the way they patroled around their perimeter to better his pack.

He was done with all the attacks, he was going to do everything he could to protect what was left of the pack. Even if it meant retraining everyone in a much more ruthless and extensive way.

Leah and Evelyn made their way and sat at a table near the bar. There were a lot of people already eating with their families. They all smiled, talking and laughing away. Leah sees one of the girls walking close by them and she grabs her attention, snapping her fingers at her. "Hey, you, omega. Come here," she orders, and the omega smiles walking toward them.

"Good morning. Luna Morrison, right?" she says happily, looking between the two. "Do not direct yourself to me so freely, omega. Do not talk to me as if we are on the same level, because we are not... got it? I am superior to you. Now bring us breakfast." she says, looking at her with a deadly stare.

The omega is taken aback, she had never been talked to so rudely, not even by the other visiting lunas. Surely Livie was a better Luna than this girl.

The omega, Chrissy, bit her tongue and remembered Livie's words. "Kindness speaks louder than ugly words. Always kill rudeness with kindness, when all else fails, attack." She smiles and went on her way. "Right away, ma'am," she says, clenching her jaw as she went to the kitchen.

The whole time, Leah barked orders at Chrissy and the other omegas, feeling entitled and making them treat her like royalty. Her only intentions were for them to see who she was. She was used to showing off, and even if she was in Livie's pack, she would do as she pleased. Or so she thought.

As they ate, they see Livie and Ricky walking down to the dining room holding hands and laughing as they talked together. Leah's blood began to boil. "Didn't you say he was pissed off with her last night when you saw them walk away?" Evelyn asks, making Leah fume in anger, fisting her hands tightly.

Surely, their plan had not worked. She had to come up with another plan, and fast. There was no way in hell she would let Olivia rule over this pack.
