Alphas Deaf Mate
Chapter 4

Reins

"Again!" I yelled at the group of guys in front of me.

Hearing them all groan getting back into their stance waiting for me to yell begin.

I walked around the group I was currently training.

"Switch partners!" Yelling out my orders.

They quickly changed partners getting into the stances once more.

I seen one guy he was having a hard time with each person he was paired with. He would end up landing on his back everytime. We have been doing this routine for about two hours already. "Everyone stop!" I called out.

They all stopped turning to face me I pointed to the one guy.

"You up front now!"

He quickly moved forward. Bowing his head to me.

"Alpha," he says.

"You seem to be struggling" I say to the one. He nods his head.

"Yes Alpha, I'm having a hard time with this,"

Walking closer to him. I pat his shoulder.

"No problem, let's slow it down,"

I stand opposite of him he turns to face me.

"Get into your stance," I tell him

He does as I say. I take my stances as well.

"Now let's slow it down, one move at a time,"

I help him through the moves so he can understand where to step and how to counter the punches as well as the kicks.

Getting back to the group we begin again.

"Alpha!" I hear my beta call from the side looking over he's running towards me.

He comes to a stop in front of me. I could tell by his look it was important.

"Everyone take a water break!" I yell to them they all walk over to the benches.

I turned to look at my beta.

"What it is?"

"We have a small problem, There was a few rogues that showed up in town last night,"

Now we all have rogues around but they know better to cross into my territory.

"How close are they?"

"Just inside town, the guards said they followed a family in their are not the usual ones from around here,"

"Followed a family in? Why would they do that? also what family?"

"Remember there is the new family moving to town, He had came a few months ago asking permission to move into the territory,"

"Yeah that's right, The boy goes to the university here,"

"Yes Alpha, It was the boy who came here first, They are the ones with the daughter who is deaf,"

"Why would they be following them?"

"I don't know Alpha but the guards are saying they are camping not to far from that family's house,"

I didn't understand why they would be tailing a family how long have they been following them.

"Alright send some scouts out have them watch these rogues report back to me as soon as they have anything, Also get in touch with the family I want to meet with them as soon as possible,"

"I'm on it," He bows turning on his heels taking off.

Looking over to the group.

"Let's go back in formation!"

I stayed training for about two more hours before I dismissed them. I seen the new group coming this was all the women I don't train them I leave that for the head warriors to do. This way none of them have any hope of getting my attention.

I head for the pack house I was in desperate need of a shower and some food. But this situation with these rogues was really playing on my mind. Especially if it was close to town as well as a family being involved one with a special needs person living there. Coming in the back door which leads straight into the kitchen I see the head cook. She was giving instructions to the help.

"Aunt Anna," I call her.

She technically isn't my aunt but everyone here calls her that. She is a very jolly person and is a mother figure to most the young members here. She is probably in her mid sixty's but don't look a day over forty She has a heart of gold. "Alpha, What can I get you dear,"

I walk over standing next to her I wrap a arm her I see all the workers bow their heads.

"Alpha," They all say together.

Holding up my hand. "Don't stop on my account,"

They all turn getting back to work.

"Did you need something Alpha?"

"Aunt Anna how many times have I told you that you don't have to call me Alpha,"

"Well my dear you will have to tell me a few more times, You are my Alpha and it is not respectful to address you differently,"

"You have been here since my parents, you have watch me grow up it is not right for you to address me that way, It should be me addressing you properly," She swats my arm.

"No sense, Young Alpha I wasn't raised to be disrespectful, Now what can I get you,"

With a sigh I give up we have had this conversation a million times but it goes no where and she always win.

"Just a cold drink for now I'm heading up to shower then to my office,"

She walks away going to the refrigerator she opens it grabbing a bottle of water walking back over to me stretching her hand out that's holding the bottle.

"Here you go dear, Now lunch will be served in about forty minutes, So you better make sure you come down,"

Taking the bottle from her I give her a salute. "Yes Ma'am,"

Walking out the kitchen I head for my room which is on the fifth floor. I mentally groan Thinking to myself I should install a elevator.

Reaching the top floor I walk straight to my room going in I quickly strip of my gross clothes from being out training all morning. Tossing them in the basket on my way to the bathroom.

Doing my business I head for the closet getting clean clothes while I'm dressing I hear my beta through the link.

"Alpha, The father and the boy is here to see you,"

"Great, I'll be down in five take them to my office,"

"Yes Alpha,"

I quickly finish getting dressed heading out the door.

"Aunt Anna," I call her through the link.

"Yes Alpha,"

"I have some guess in my office would you be so kinda and bring them so drinks please,"

"Of course Alpha,"

"Thank you Aunt Anna,"

I cut the link making my way down the steps I head straight for the second floor.

I reached my office door the same time I see Aunt Anna coming down the hall. I open the door for her giving her a smile she returns it.

"Thank you Alpha,"

I just groan again not even going there again.

She walks in going straight for the sitting area.

"Afternoon gentlemen, I brought you all some refreshments, enjoy,"

She sits the tray down on the small table turning to me she gives a small bow.

"Alpha,"

"Thank you," I say to her.

"My pleasure, Alpha,"

She walks out closing the door. The two men sitting there instantly stand. Bowing their heads.

"Alpha," they greet me.

I can tell they are father and son they look alot alike. The boy is taller then his father but his father is much more built thicker frame. Both look to be in great shape. Making me wonder if they train our kind generally has a good natural built but if you train hard and condition yourself you can become much more fit.

Holding my hand out gesturing for them to sit.

"Gentlemen, please take a seat,"

"Thank you Alpha," they say together.

They even sound a lot alike.
