Arrogant Man VS Unyielding Woman
Chapter 501 Why Did Calvin Have To Do That

"Zed, what do you mean?" Jean was shocked and annoyed all of a sudden, so she glared at Zed.

"I meant nothing!" Zed stared ahead and said, "But obviously, he has a crush on you."

"Zed, you have overestimated me!" Instead of showing anger, Jean laughed and continued,"Not everyone thinks of something dirty when they see me."

"Jean, I don't want to fight with you!" Zed glanced at Jean and said, "I will do anything if you prove me wrong that Calvin has feelings for you."

"You are always suspicious. You doubt everyone around you! For the sake of our baby, please don't fight with me! Don't bother me." Jean snorted and turned away from Zed.

Moore sat behind them and stared at the two of them fighting like children. The issue was quite simple, yet they quarrelled angrily.

If Moore kept quiet, then they would keep arguing.

"Zed, Jean, calm yourselves down first! Listen to me!" Moore said as he sighed. Then, he continued,"Both of you have your own reasons and you both think that the other is wrong. In my opinion, this is not something serious. Why on earth are you two arguing for something not that serious? It is even affecting your relationship. Zed, as Jean's husband, you should trust her, cherish her and take good care of her. You shouldn't doubt Jean just because others did something."

"I don't doubt Jean. I just feel that Calvin doesn't behave appropriately when he sees Jean. So I want her to be careful." Zed explained his side of the story.

"Be careful? Zed, do you think that Calvin would get me in trouble?" Jean suddenly replied as she heard what Zed said.

"You!" Zed wanted to say something but he paused. He didn't know how to explain. Instead, he glared at Jean angrily.

"Jean, I am not blaming you! But you are really short-tempered and you should change that!" Moore saw them argue again, so he hurriedly comforted Jean, "Zed is your husband. He only wants the best for you! Zed is a reasonable person, and he won't jump on the conclusion without observation. Do you think that his concern for you is unnecessary? He cares for you and he is really concerned about you."

"As far as Calvin is concerned, I think all this is unnecessary," Jean said rudely.

"Jean, don't be so ungrateful!" Zed lost his temper all of a sudden as he heard Jean's words.

"I am being ungrateful?" Jean sneered as soon as she heard what Zed said, and then she continued, "Calvin talked to me for just a few moments. Do you have to doubt him that much?"

"I doubt his intentions because of how he behaved today," Zed replied coldly as he heard what Jean said.

"Ooh! Earlier you said that you don't know Calvin. You must have ordered your men to replace out anything about him! Zed, how can you do that?" Jean felt upset when she heard Zed's words.

"I can't explain." Zed suddenly parked the car on the side of the road and said, "Moore, can you drive from here?"

"Yes, I can!" Moore nodded as soon as Zed asked him.

"Great! Please drive. I am not in a good mood." Zed opened the door of the car, got off and sat on the back seat immediately.

Moore nodded, stood up, got out of the car and sat on the driver's seat. Seeing Jean furious, Moore sighed and said, "I don't understand why the two of you are arguing like this?"

"Moore, have you seen anyone who is so unreasonable?" asked Jean as she glared at Moore fiercely. She then continued, "I don't know how Calvin offended him so that he thought of him in this way." "Jean, don't get angry." Moore drove and comforted her too,"Zed is doing this because of his own reasons. I suggest that you should take his advice. I also think that Calvin intentionally got close to you." "Moore, why are you talking like Zed?" Jean exclaimed as she heard what Moore said.

"You said it yourself that you didn't meet Calvin a lot of times, right?" asked Moore as he stared at Jean.

Jean nodded and looked at Moore.

"But today, he intentionally behaved as if he was quite close to you. He acted really different to how he had act when he met us in the hospital last time. He was acting a little weirdly. It seemed that he did that on purpose to show it to Zed. So you should care how Zed feels,"

Moore spoke with a serious tone.

"Yes, he did that on purpose!" Zed said quietly from the back seat.

"It's not necessary for you to chime in every time," Jean retorted back impolitely as soon as she heard Zed's words.

Zed touched his nose and gave a wry smile.

He was astonished a little. He looked at Moore in amazement.

Zed was shocked, because he didn't expect that Moore could say something like this. This was beyond his expectation.

"Why did Calvin have to do that?" Jean asked in confusion and focused her eyes on Moore.

"I am not sure!" He stared at Jean and then continued with a forced smile. "But if you don't believe what I just said, you yourself can observe his actions. I think he will try to replace you again especially when you are alone. That's when you will understand what I mean." "You just said that he deliberately got close to me so that Zed could see. Then why did you say that he will try to replace me when I am alone, and only then will I understand what you mean? Moore's words confused Jean.

"Trust me, Jean! You should be careful in case that he replaces you when you are alone," Moore said to Jean with a smile.

All of a sudden, Jean stopped talking. She had been annoyed by Zed, so she hadn't really thought things through.

But since Moore have spoken out the same misgiving as Zed, Jean had to take this issue seriously.

Zed, who was sitting in the back seat, looked gloomy. Jean was not as furious as she had been before, but Zed still felt a little uncomfortable.

'Why didn't Jean understand when I said that?

And she understood when Moore said it?

Is there any problem with my way of explaining things?

Or if Jean didn't want me to say anything in front of her friend?

If that is so, then why did she even bring me here?'

Zed couldn't understand why he and Jean always quarrelled with each other over something unimportant.

"Zed, I talked to Jean. Now, I have something to tell you." Moore looked at Zed from the rearview mirror. After thinking for a while, he said, "I know that I have no right to say something like this to you and Jean. But as your friend, I have to say that you need to be more patient. I believe Jean will understand everything as long as you explain to her patiently. In this way, every problem would be solved." "Will that work? I wanted to explain patiently, but before I could finish my words, she revolted," Zed said bitterly. 000
