Chapter 314:

I was so anxious that I used all my strength to stop Alvaro from coming near me.

“Don’t move, my leg.” He frowned.

His reaction scared me. Thinking I had touched his wound, I stood still without moving an inch. He seized the opportunity and pressed his body against me.

I tried to stop him, but his weight trapped me in place. I couldn’t fight him off.

“Alvaro, behave yourself!” I glared at him.

“I think I’m behaving,” he said, grinning mischievously.

Suddenly he raised his hand and held up two fingers. “How many fingers are here?”

“Are you crazy?” I shouted.

Alvaro was a thick-skinned man. He always smiled when I scolded him. He reached over and touched my head.

“I just wanted to see if you had any after-effects left after the blow to the head.”

I snorted. “You’d better worry about your leg first.”

“I’m not worried. If anything happens to me, I’ll make sure you take care of me for the rest of my life,” he said, deliberately underlining the words the rest of my life.

“No way!” I rolled my eyes.

His smile disappeared and he pouted at me. “I was hurt because I saved you-how could you forget? I didn’t think you were a heartless woman.”

I worried about him and decided to visit him because he had saved me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have bothered to even give him a glance.

Just then, the voices of the men on the other side of the door attracted my attention. I could clearly recognize Lean’s voice.

I noticed Alvaro as I felt panic take hold of me. He looked at me and a gentle smile tugged at his lips, as if he knew what I was thinking.

Before I knew what was happening, he suddenly opened the bathroom door, shoved me inside, slammed the door shut and bolted it.

“Alvaro!” the men shouted as they entered the room.

“He’s not here.”

“His leg is hurt – where will he go?” Alvaro pushed me against the cold wall.

I was so nervous I could barely breathe.

“Let’s call him,” Lean said.

My eyes widened in horror. Alvaro’s phone rang in the bathroom before I could turn it off. I broke out in a cold sweat as the phone continued to ring.

“Alvaro is in the bathroom,” someone said.

Moments later, someone knocked on the door.

“Alvaro, are you taking a shit?”. The phone kept ringing, but Alvaro didn’t answer. If he admitted he was taking a shit, everyone would be waiting for him outside.

Alvaro stared at me; I didn’t know what he was thinking. After a while, he slowly pushed the crutch away, rested his hands behind my head and leaned toward my ear. Then he started breathing hard and moaning.

I was startled.

I heard muffled laughter coming from outside.

“Well, I guess we’ve come at a bad time.”

“Come on. Don’t bother him. Alvaro has been lying in bed for many days. He has to get his needs met.” Everyone gossiped.

I asked them to leave because I couldn’t stay in the bathroom with him.

There were two knocks on the door before Lean spoke, “Alvaro, don’t move too much. Take care of your injured leg.” Hearing that, the others burst out laughing.

After a while, I heard the sound of footsteps before the room fell silent. I pushed Alvaro.

He lost his balance and stumbled against the wall, holding it for support. Although he had only acted for a moment, I could see that his eyes were burning with desire.

I swallowed saliva and hurried to grab the doorknob. However, Alvaro pulled me back and pressed me against the wall again.

He hooked his fingers between my chin, forcing me to give him a look. His eyes darted to my lips before meeting my eyes. Lust flashed across his face. His hot breath ran down my face as he leaned into me.
