Benson 210
Chapter 210 Sudden Questions
Yvonne was trapped by Benson’s passionate kiss in the parking lot, with the stone pillar beside her being her only support.
The cold hardness of the pillar contrasted sharply with the warmth of her body, making it feel like her entire world was being consumed by his ardor.
Every touch of his lips felt like burning flames, making her feel incredibly hot and breathless.
Her entire body seemed to be under his control, every part of her occupied by his kisses, and her heartbeat quickened.
For the first time, Yvonne experienced such a passionate kiss, feeling as if the entire world was spinning.
Her body became exceptionally soft in his embrace, like a flower petal swaying in the wind, being continually tossed by his kisses.
At that moment, her heart was filled with contradictions and confusion, a mix of the satisfaction of being loved and the fear of being trapped.
Her breathing became rapid, almost unable to catch her breath. She could only tilt her head slightly, trying to replace a moment of respite from his fiery kisses.
His kisses gradually turned tender and lingering, as he gently played with her lips, his voice low but filled with tenderness: “Yvonne, I’ve missed your so much.”
These words felt like a key, unlocking the emotions deep within her heart.
Her gaze became clearer as she looked into his eyes filled with deep affection, her cheeks blushing from the kiss.
Although her heart was filled with anger and questions, all her emotions were drawn to his affectionate gaze.
Her lip were numb from his kisses, and she could only glare at him helplessly.
Benson’s body was pressed tightly against hers, and he looked down into her eyes, his affectionate gaze seemingly melting her completely.
She tried to push him away, but her strength seemed futile.
Just then, voices came from the elevator, breaking the tense atmosphere.
Yvonne realized that their relationship was still not public.
She didn’t want these circumstances to affect her career. She was about to leave when Benson firmly grasped her wrist.
“Yvonne, wait a moment.” Benson’s deep voice carried a hint of assertiveness, not deterred by her concerns.
Holding her wrist, he half–dragged, half–embraced her to the car.
His eyes showed a mix of determination and tenderness, as if only this could express his longing for her.
He opened the car door, guiding her inside, and shut the door, the world instantly becoming quiet, leaving only their breathing echoing in the car.
The car’s interior was small and warm, and Benson leaned in, trapping her, his gaze roaming over her flushed face.
His fingers lightly touched her lips with an indescribable tenderness.
Yvonne tried to evade, but her voice trembled: “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Although her tone was full of displeasure, her voice was unexpectedly soft, as if trying to hide her inner turmoil.
“I missed you a lot.” Benson’s voice was low and magnetic, stirring her
heart.
Seeing her expression soften, he leaned in again, kissing her lips with. tenderness and determination.
He seemed unsatisfied with just kissing; his voice carried a hint of subtle provocation.
“I’ve been away for so long, you didn’t call or contact me. I understand, but
don’t you want to know about Olivia?”
Yvonne’s heart jolted, suddenly waking from her daze: “How is she?”
She was desperate to know everything about Olivia but felt powerless to respond to his question in this situation.
“Have dinner with me first.” Benson’s response surprised her.
He didn’t directly answer her question but guided her back home.
Yvonne was puzzled but followed him home anyway.
Back home, Maria had already prepared a sumptuous dinner, with the aroma of the exquisite dishes filling the air.
The dining table was laden with their favorite foods, the warm atmosphere sharply contrasting with the tension in the car.
Yvonne sat at the dining table, facing Benson.
Her mood remained heavy, her gaze involuntarily falling on the dishes in front of him, unable to calm down.
Her thoughts were still occupied with Olivia’s safety, unable to fully engage in the dinner.
“Speak up, how is she?” Yvonne couldn’t help but ask, her voice filled with urgent anxiety.
Her mind was solely focused on Olivia’s safety, momentarily forgetting Benson’s presence.
Her eyes revealed her desperation for answers, as if every second of waiting was torture.
Benson was savoring Maria’s soup, rich and flavorful.
His face showed satisfaction, clearly enjoying the meal.
He had been away for over half a month, more than twenty days since his discharge.
Although his condition was fairly good now, Yvonne hadn’t inquired about his health or his experiences during that time.
She only cared about Olivia, which surprised Benson.
“Do you remember ? Benson suddenly spoke, his voice carrying a hint of
curiosity
“Your best friend Olivia was my first woman, and I was her first man. Your know that right?”
His words carried complex emotions, seemingly probing Yvonne’s
reaction.
Yvonne’s heart skipped a beat, her face changing slightly as she looked at Benson with suspicion: “What… what does that matter?”
Her voice trembled, clearly startled and uneasy about Benson’s mention..
“Yvonne, I can understand your disappointment in me, not loving me anymore, wanting a divorce… but I can’t believe you’re so calm when talking about Olivia. It’s not human nature.”
Benson’s tone carried confusion and doubt.
Even though their relationship had changed, he still hoped to replace traces of their past in her reactions.
Yvonne lowered her gaze, speaking softly: “I think it’s all in the past, no need to bring it up.”
Her voice was filled with fatigue and helplessness, clearly unwilling to continue dwelling on the past.
Benson put down his utensils, stood up, and walked to her.
His gaze was focused and deep, as if afraid to miss any expression on her face: “And you? Who was your first man?”
Yvonne quickly lifted her eyes, filled with anger and confusion: “Benson, what the hell is wrong with you?”
Her heart was full of questions, not understanding why he suddenly asked such personal questions.
She regretted not inquiring about his situation while he was in Mexico,
now replaceing herself like a blind person, constantly guessing his thoughts.
She began to worry, wondering if something had happened to make him so sensitive.
Or if Olivia had done something to unsettle him.
Her mind was filled with confusion, feeling lost in how to respond to Benson’s probing.
