Benson 234

Chapter 234 Support for Parenthood.

Yvonne’s nose tingled with a hint of bitterness as she locked eyes with Benson’s deep gaze.

Those eyes, once so full of light, now appeared more complex and profound due to his blindness. She could sense Benson’s probing, his silent questioning filling the air.

Yvonne knew that Benson wasn’t merely ang her “Where were you?” but was instead testing her feelings and commitment.

Her initial fluttering emotions were gradually cooled by his question..

She realized that this was not just a simple query but one laden with challenges and expectations.

Taking a deep breath, Yvonne tried to calm her inner turmoil, slightly raising her chin as she looked at him with determined eyes.

“Benson, where do you want me to be?”

Her words, though calm, carried a hint of challenge and stubbornness.

She could feel his gaze becoming sharper, his lips tightening slightly.

A swirl of complex emotions rose within her; her existence and choices seemed to be overly scrutinized. She couldn’t help but feel confused and helpless.

Yvonne turned her eyes away, a strong wave of resentment and helplessness surging in her heart. This kind of probing felt almost absurd to her.

Her heart pounded wildly as she faced Benson’s inquiry, unable to give a clear answer.

“Your story is quite touching,” she said with a trace of coldness in her voice, trying to mask her inner agitation.

Her response clearly didn’t strike a chord with Benson, and disappointment was evident on his face.

He had hoped to replace some comfort in her answer, but instead, her reply left him feeling even more lost.

At that moment, his expression turned tired and dejected.

He had many things he wanted to say and many questions he wished to ask, but in the end, he simply gripped her shoulder.

He softly called out, “Yvonne,” and then fell sile

silent.

Yvonne’s gaze drifted away from Benson, as if she hadn’t heard the softness and affection in his voice.

Her heart was a tumult of emotions, trying to replace balance amidst the chaos.

She wanted to get up from the sofa and leave the suffocating atmosphere, but she feared wavering in her decision.

However, Benson held her firmly in place, bending down to kiss her lips.

This kiss, like always, was full of power and urgency, more intense than ever.

Yvonne tilted her head, letting his kiss overwhelm her senses, feeling a surge of pain through her body. Her ears were filled with his rapid breathing, her heart heavy with pain and struggle.

She sobbed softly in his ear but didn’t stop him, her hands clutching his hair tightly, trying to share in the

pain.

The night became chaotic, yet it was also more thrilling than ever.

Each touch made her heart race, and the flood of emotions became uncontrollable.

It seemed Benson deliberately waited for her face to flush, forcing her to seek comfort in the intense

emotions.

Finally, he held her tightly, taking her to the shower, and the two fell asleep together.

In the dim light, Yvonne turned her back to Benson as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, gently kissing her neck.

Those kisses were warm and teler, as if they were soothing every wound on her body.

His lips gently moved over her skin, kissing the marks he had just left.

Yvonne’s mind was a whirl of thoughts, filled with confusion and unease about the future.

She gradually fell asleep amidst these chaotic thoughts

Her breathing became steady, and the turmoil in her heart slowly settled.

She couldn’t predict what the future would hold; all she could do was replace a moment of peace in Benson’s embrace.

The next morning, sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the curtains, its warm rays waking Yvonne.

She rubbed her sleepy eyes, got dressed, and walked out of the bedroom.

The sounds downstairs caught her attention–she heard Hannah and Benson talking quietly.

Their laughter, light and cheerful, filled the air with ease and joy.

Yvonne entered the dining room, seeing Hannah sitting at the table, her face lit up with a happy smile.

Her smile was like the spring sunshine, bright and warm, making the breakfast time feel especially cozy.

Benson sat across from her, looking at his mother with gentle eyes, occasionally joining in the conversation with soft responses.

The table was laden with a hearty breakfast–fragrant pancakes, freshly baked bread, and steaming coffee.

Hannah’s smile seemed to spread across the table, and she occasionally turned to Yvonne.

She asked with concern, “Good morning, Yvonne, did you sleep well last night?”

Yvonne smiled back and replied, “Good morning, Mom, slept well.”

“That’s good.” Hannah’s eyes flashed with a mother’s care, her smile even warmer.

“You two are really in love. Seeing you both so happy makes me happy too.”

The breakfast atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, with Hannah and Benson chatting about various topics, their laughter ringing out now and then.

The conversation gradually shifted towards the future of the family.

Hannah teased lightly, “Yvonne, both of you are so busy with your careers now, but isn’t it time to think about having a baby?”

Yvonne’s face immediately showed a hint of embarrassment. She lowered her head, glancing at Benson
