However, Rose on the other hand was completely the opposite. She had never seen anyone like Cara, even though she had met her in her past life. She had never spoken to her or knew the type of person she was. Rose had an amazed expression on her face as she

watched in silence.

"I knew it, they are already close for Alex to buy her a gift."

"Wow, when did they get together? Are they going to announce their relationship?"

"Would Cara Gale be that lucky woman who is able to steal the heart of the ruthless Alexander king?"

People began to murmur again when they heard that Alex had bought a gift for her.

Among all the people that thought that Alex and Cara were in some sort of relationship, Rose was the only person who thought differently.

First of all, she didn't get the slightest impression that the two of them were a couple. Cara was the only one who was smiling like a fool in love, while the man who goes by the name Alex, acted like she wasn't even visible.

There was eighty five percent sure that Cara was the one trying to force herself on the man. 'As expected of her personality. She wouldn't stop pestering him until she gets what she wants. I was here to create a show but who knew I would encounter another interesting show.' Rose thought to herself. She folded her hand in front of her as her gaze was glued in the direction of where Cara, Alex, Derek and Cara's secretary were. She was really enjoying the scene that was unfolding before and was curious to know more.

To everyone's surprise, Alex suddenly stopped walking before turning around to look at Cara with a cold and stern expression on his face. "Who told you that the jewelry box is yours, Miss Gale?" For the first time, Alex finally spoke. His voice was very deep and masculine, yet sounded extremely cold and indifferent. The entire atmosphere in the jewelry shop dropped instantly the moment he opened his mouth, it was as if everyone was exposed to harsh, chilling wind in the antarctic.

Cara's smile dropped when she heard Alex. She, who had been eager to hear Alex's voice, was unable to feel excited after he finally spoke to her because she was more focused on the chill that ran down her spine when she heard his cold voice.

'Some commanding aura he possesses.' Rose thought. Unlike the rest of the people in the shop that turned pale when Alex spoke, she remained calm and collected. Though she felt the chills but was still able to compose herself. Even Rose was slightly surprised that she didn't feel threatened at such an aura, if it was the past her, she was sure that she would have felt intimidated. Maybe it is because of the fact that she had died and was currently living her second life.

"Wh-what......what do you mean by that? Isn't..... I thought this jewelry box was mine since you gave it to me back in the VIP room. I understand what is going on, Mr. King?" Cara stuttered, confused at what was going on.

What did he mean by that? Is he trying to say the box wasn't for her, then why was she bragging about it earlier in front of everyone? Is he trying to embarrass her in front of everyone purposely?

Instead of replying to Cara's question, Alex turned to look at Derek with a frown. "Deal with this." He ordered.

Without needing to be told what to do, Derek nodded his head and quickly interfered in the matter. "Miss Gale, you seem to have misunderstood what the purpose of that jewelry box is for. That jewelry box isn't for you but your older sister." Derek revealed.

Cara creased her brow when she

heard Derek's words. "What rubbish are you telling me? If this jewelry box isn't for me, then why are you giving it to me and telling me it was mine?! Are you joking with me?!?!" Unable to contain herself Cara yelled at Derek, furious at the fact that

she had just made a fool of herself in front of the people in the jewelry shop.

Derek immediately frowned at Cara's attitude and words. "I never told you about the jewelry box for you. I only said it was for Miss Gale. Besides, we were supposed to meet the CEO of Gale Group here today, but you showed up instead of your sister. And according to what you said, you're here to represent her and that jewelry box was already prepared for your sister and it's only normal for me to pass it on to her through you since you're her representative. I don't understand how you got the idea that the jewelry box was for you."

Cara opened and closed her mouth, unable to say anything to refute Derek's words.

"Just what is going on? Wasn't she bragging about the jewelry that Alexander king bought for her?"

"Yeah, beat me. How come the jewelry for her sister instead of her? If that's the case, then why is she claiming it?"

"Geez! Isn't she being delusional? Who did she think she was, that the almighty and great Alexander king would buy a gift for her."

Listening to the silent whispers from the crowds, Cara clenched her hand into a fist, her long manicured fingers nail digging deep into her palm. 'Those crazy dimwits. Where are the praises you were singing of me earlier.'

Meanwhile everyone was still getting

over the shock that jewelry wasn't for Cara, Sophia wasn't shocked at all. Infact, she was one of the few people who weren't pleased when they heard that Cara got jewelry from the famous Alexander king. But now, she was really pleased with What she heard. 'Delusional bitch! How can you think that you deserve Alexander at all!' Sophia thought.

Roseline, on the other hand, wasn't shocked either when she heard Derek's words. 'I suspect that this is where it would land and it did.' She thought, unconsciously took a peek at Sophia and saw how she was more focused on Alex.
