She saw him leaning against the elevator wall with his hand tucked in the school pants pocket with a calm and aloof expression. Rose knew without being told that he was from a rich family but she was amazed seeing how he had almost similar expressions to her. "Why are you staring at me? Do I have something on my face?" The boy suddenly asked, noticing that Rose was gazing at him ever since they entered the elevator.

"Nothing." Rose calmly replied as she turned to look away from him. However, she failed to notice the smirk on the boy's face.

A few moments passed and no one said anything until the boy spoke again to break the silence. "Why are you here alone in the first place? Didn't you come here with someone?" He asked. Ever since she entered the classroom and he laid his eyes on her, he felt like Rose was familiar and his curiosity increased when he saw her having the same gray eyes like him.

"I didn't come alone. My younger sister is a student in this school and she was supposed to take me to the headmistress office but she had to leave because she had a class to attend." Rose calmly responded again.

"I see. What about you?" He questioned, turning to glance at Rose.

Hearing his question, Rose also turned to him. Because he was taller than her thanks to her short height she had to raise her head up just to have a proper look at his face.

"What do you mean?" She asked with a confused expression. Although, she wasn't as confused as she looked because she already knew what he was asking. The truth was that she was too lazy to act smart and give him a direct response so she acted clueless. "I'm asking what is your purpose here? You don't look like a student here."

"Oh, I'm here to take the school exam for enrollment." Finally understanding what he meant, Rose didn't hesitate to reply.

The boy said nothing and just simply nodded his head at Rose.

"I'm sorry, because of me you have to leave your class." Rose suddenly apologized one more time. She felt guilty because she heard what the male teacher said earlier that he would have to take notes of the class.

"That isn't needed. When someone does a favor for you, you're supposed to say thank you and not apologize. Besides I should be the one thanking you because I have a good reason to escape from that boring class." The boy replied in a nonchalant voice. Before Rose walked into the class, he was already dozing off because of how bored he is.

Even though they were seniors and in their final years of highschool, it didn't stop them from not having classes a few times in a week but today was a different case since the subject was one of subjects he disliked.

Rose stared at his face for a while, thinking about what he said and didn't say anything because she wasn't sure what to say. In her past life, she was used to saying sorry even though she wasn't at fault. Although she was trying to change her life and not live in regret again. However, it's not easy to change some things that had become a trauma for her.

The boy glanced at Rose and noticed that she was in deep thought but he decided to say anything and just let her be.

When they got to the floor, the elevator door opened and they both stepped out of it.

The boy led Rose towards the assistant desk that was outside the headmistress office.

"We are to see the headmistress." The boy calmly spoke to the lady sitting behind the desk. She obviously was the headmistress assistant.

"The Headmistress is in the office, you can go in." The assistant gestured to them to pass, her gaze lingering on Rose as she walked past them. She quickly grabbed the telephone and called the Headmistress office number to inform her about the presence of the two people heading to her office.

When they reached the headmistress office, the boy knocked on the door gently.

"Come in." A feminine voice was heard from inside the office.

Without hesitation the boy turned the door knob and opened the door gesturing to Rose to walk in.

"Mr. Anderson, what have brought you here to my office?" A middle aged woman dressed in a purple corporate suit with her hair tied up into a bun asked in a respectful tone, immediately she saw the boy and Rose walk into her office. She had already been informed by her assistant outside so she wasn't surprised by the boy's presence, however, she raised a brow when

she looked at Rose.

"I'm not the one who came here to meet you, Headmistress Moore. She is the one who I brought here." The boy who was referred to as 'Mr.Anderson' replied and pointed at Rose.

"It's nice to meet you, Headmistress

Moore. I believe Mrs. Gray had

already informed you about my arrival today." Rose slightly bowed her head at the Headmistress. She was too lazy to introduce herself so she decided to use a different way to introduce herself. That is if the Headmistress was stupid to not know who she was after mentioning the Gray family name.

The Headmistress brow drew together before finally connecting the puzzle. 'Don't tell this beautiful girl is the step-daughter Beatrice is talking about?' The headmistress raked Rose over one more time. She was really shocked to see how beautiful the first young Missof the Gray is. When Beatrice told her about Rose and she called the school Rose was attending abroad, she had only asked for Rose's study information and she hadn't seen her picture. This is the first time she would be seeing Rose.

"Are you Roseline Gray? I've heard about you from your mother. I'm headmistress Moore of Crystal Lake Academy." Headmistress Moore introduced herself properly again to Rose.

"Nice to meet you, ma." Rose calmly nodded her head at her. Headmistress Moore couldn't help but eye Rose weirdly, seeing how she was acting so mature. Even the boy who had brought Rose too raised a brow at her calm demeanor.
