Rose stopped laughing when she heard the loud thud sound in the room. She moved her head down and turned to look at the direction where the sound came from.

To her dismay, she saw a beautiful young girl, dressed in a black and white knee-length gown standing by the door. She had a scared, frightened and stunned expression on her face as she stared at Roseline who was still sitting on the bed.

Rose glanced at the girl for a few seconds before her gaze trailed off to the white bag on the floor. Obviously it was the bag that had fallen down and caused a loud thud sound in the room. However, Rose was puzzled why the girl was standing by the door without moving except for the shocked expression on her face.

She recognized the girl, who was none other than her roommate.

"Why are you standing there like you've just seen a ghost?" Rose finally asked, raising a brow at her roommate, who could also be considered as her friend.

In a flash, after the question left Rose's mouth, her roommate who was standing there like a statue quickly moved closer to her. Rose was even unable to catch a glimpse of her movement because she was too fast. In an instant, her roommate was sitting right in front of her with a scared look on her face.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my friend's body? Where is Roseline?!" She frantically asked as she grabbed both of Rose's shoulders and shook her.

"Gosh, what is wrong with you Alisa?" Rose asked with a frown as she removed Alisa's hand away from her shoulder.

"What do you mean by that? I should be the one asking that question here, seeing how you've gone crazy." Alisa replied with a frown as she pointed at Rose. "Crazy? Me?" Rose confusingly pointed at herself.

"Uh-huh, of course, you. You were laughing like a crazy person all of a sudden that it scared the shit out of me. You even have that dangerous expression on your face, what's wrong with you? Has your fever gone crazily high to the extent that you have finally gone insane?" Alisa asked, casting Rose a weird look. She was on her way back to the dorm room after she went to get some drugs for Rose to use from the nearest pharmacy, close to the girls dormitory. She was shocked to see Rose, who was asleep before she went out, now sitting on the bed. And she wasn't just sitting on the bed, she was laughing crazily like she was possessed which scared the shit out of her.

Rose couldn't help but roll her eyes at Alisa. She couldn't blame her for acting this way because she had been too engrossed in her thought that she had let out a laugh due to how happy she was. If she recalled properly, she is currently studying overseas away from California. And in her current situation, she had been down with fever for the past few days and her roommate -Alisa had gone out to get some drugs from the pharmacy to use. Normally, Alisa was the one that was supposed to wake her up, but due to the fact that she had regressed back to the past, she was the one who woke by herself.

"You have nothing to worry about, Alisa. I just remembered something that made me extremely happy." Rose finally spoke to reassure Alisa. Everything wasn't a lie, since she was extremely happy to be back.

"Are you sure?" Alisa asked, still not convinced by Rose's excuse. She raised her hand and placed it on Rose's forehead to feel her temperature and she let out a sigh.

"That laughter that I heard sounds more crazy than the laughter of someone who is happy. You were laughing like you're about to murder someone." Alisa remarked as she stood up from the bed and walked towards where her bag had fallen and picked it up before turning back to look at Rose. "I got you some drugs to use. You're still running a little bit of temperature, though it has reduced." She added as she sat down back on Rose's bed.

"Thank you for taking care of me." Rose smiled at Alisa as she reached out her hand to collect the drugs that Alisa had uncapped for her. She waited for Alisa to pour her a glass of water and pass it to her before she finally swallowed the drug.

Alisa stared at Rose throughout, watching how Rose swallowed the drug without taking her eyes off her. She collected the cup after Rose was done drinking and placed it on the bedside table.

"Are you okay?" Alisa asked, glancing at Rose. One could tell that she was worried about Rose even though she was trying so hard not to show it.

"Mm, I am. Thank you and don't worry about me." Rose replied with a nod of her head.

"That's enough, you've been thanking me like it was some big deal." Alisa casually waved her hand at Rose and looked away.

Rose chuckled slightly when she saw the tip of Alisa's ear turn red. It was obvious that she was too embarrassed to admit that she was worried about her. Both she and Alisa have been friends for over three years now. The first time she met Alisa was when she just arrived at the school and she got lost, it was Alisa who had given her the direction of where she was going not knowing that she would eventually meet Alisa again that day who happened to be her roommate.

This was her fourth year studying abroad. According to what she could remember, her father had persuaded her to study abroad which she had agreed to without thinking much about it. If she calculated the calendar well, in her previous life she would be returning back to California to finish highschool in a month's time. Although her father had sent her here to study, he had made sure that he picked a very good school. Despite the fact she was currently studying overseas in a boarding school, this wasn't just any ordinary boarding school, this was an elite boarding school for kids from rich, wealthy and Influential families from different countries.

Every child in this boarding school came from different wealthy families and just like her, Alisa was also from a rich family in California as well. She was also sent to study here by her father. Thinking about it, Alisa has a similar family situation as her.

Alisa's mother died five years ago and instantly her father brought home his mistress and his other children who happened to be Alisa's step siblings. Because he didn't want any disruption in his new family he sent Alisa away to study here so that her presence doesn't harm his new wife and children.

Perhaps, when Rose heard about Alisa's story in her previous life, she felt like it was similar to her, the only difference was that her father and stepmother loved her, or so she thought.

Alisa had always been there for her, even when she went back to California, she kept in contact with Alisa who had refused to return back home. In her past, she had forced Alisa to come back to California to be her bridesmaid on her wedding day. However, a week after her wedding, when Alisa was on her way back to the airport she was involved in a ghastly accident. Fortunately, she hadn't died but she remained in coma until Rose died by her own family hand on her wedding anniversary.
