Blaise

Nox walks with me to our first class and we sit right next to each other. The study of humans for me is quite boring since everything talked about so far, I’ve already known because I lived in the human world, went to human schools. I still try to listen to the professor talk but Nox is right next to me and he’s running his hand up and down the bare portion of my thigh. And here I thought it’d be a good idea to wear a tennis skirt.

Picking up my phone from the corner of the desk where I had placed it, I quickly open my text messages and click on Nox’s name.

Me: What R U doing?

Nox: Nothing...

Me: Don’t start something you won’t be able to finish, Mr.!

Nox chuckles silently for a second and then a devilishly wicked grin spreads across his face. My eyes go wide, and I suck in a breath as his hand travels to the inner part of my thigh. His hand snakes to my most intimate parts and I bite the inside of my lip nervous that we will get caught. Oh my gosh, am I really letting him do this during class?Apparently, I am because I shifted in my seat to allow him better access! His fingers are like magic as he rubs them against me. I squirm in my seat trying to discretely swivel my hips so I can feel him more.

As he plunges first one and then a second finger inside me, I gasp. Thankfully it wasn’t an audible sound! Stars above I need to feel his hands on me at all times! A minute later I’m biting my tongue to keep from moaning out loud as he brings my body over the edge. My body trembles as the euphoric sensation subsides.

Not realizing I was white knuckling the desk top I unclenched my hands of their vice like grip. Remembering I had stuffed some Kleenex in my side bag, I grabbed them and handed the wad to him but to my surprise he put the fingers he had used to give me pleasure into his mouth and sucked them clean. He still accepted the Kleenex though to dry his hand when he was done.

Twenty minutes later class is finally over, and we leave the room together. I want nothing more than to be able to push him up against a wall and return the favor but instead I say in a hushed voice, “I can’t believe you did that!”

Nox takes my hand interlocking our fingers and begins to swing them as we walk down the hallway. “Can I see you later?” He drags his tongue teasingly along his lips as he asks me.

“I’m not sure. I’m hoping to be able to have ‘that’ talk with Braeden and Carden.”

“Okay. Text me later and let me know what’s up.” Just as we reach my next class, he releases our hands and brushes his lips against my cheek. “See you later.”

Seriously on cloud nine as I enter the room. My high vanishes though as I see the twins already in their seats. Taking a deep breath, I slowly climb the steps. I can feel them staring at me as I make my way up and when I come to the row, they’re sitting in I finally relent and look at their faces. To my surprise it isn’t anger I see on their faces or in their eyes, it’s worry, concern for me.

“Hey,” I say in a loud whisper as I allow my eyes to dart back and forth between the two of them. They both say hey back in unison causing a grin to form on my lips. It’s then that I realized there’s an empty seat between them. “Is this for me?” I nod my head to indicate the vacant desk. They at the same time respond with a “yes,” and my grin grows wider.

Carden leans near my ear to say in a raspy, whispered voice, “Clover spoke to us. We’re so sorry that we doubted you even for a second. Will you forgive us?” He shifts so he can give me pleading puppy dog eyes.

Before I can give him an answer Braeden chimes in, “We also went to the dean to let her know what Morgan has been doing to you. Unfortunately, because there’s no proof that points directly to her, the dean can’t take disciplinary actions towards her. And like Carden said, we are so sorry that we abandoned you when you needed us. Please forgive us.” He then gives me the same pleading look as his brother.

Instead of giving them an answer I ask, “can we meet somewhere after classes are done for the day? I have somethings I need to tell you and then you can decide if you still want my forgiveness.” Class starts just then, and I’ll have to wait for their answer until later.

I swear Braeden and Carden are on the same wavelength or something because two folded up pieces of paper land on my desk at the same time. I give each of them a look and then they lean forward so they can look at each other before grins appear on their faces.

As discreetly as I can so as not to interrupt the professor, I unfold one and then the other note and lay them side by side and suppress a laugh. The words on both sheets of paper are exactly the same minus the phone numbers. Just text me when you’re free and we’ll figure out where to meet.

While the guys and I were talking Morgan had managed to slip into class without us seeing her. I mean I’m not surprised; she is supposed be in the class I’m just surprised that we didn’t notice her walk in. She’s sitting near the far wall that doesn’t have windows and she’s staring at me. That’s the only reason I even knew she was there because I could feel her eyes on me from across the room. When I looked at her, she did a prissy wave of her fingers. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back towards the professor.

Suddenly I felt something crawling on my arm. Looking at it I don’t see anything but brush my other hand along my skin. The creepy crawly sensation is gone from my arm but now feels like something is crawling on the back of my neck. My hand flies up and rubs against the sensation. The other arm, across my chest, and my thighs all begin to experience the same feeling of little critters crawling on me.

“What’s wrong Blaise?” Carden whispers as he notices I can’t sit still.

“I don’t know but I’m itchy and it feels like bugs are crawling all over me,” my whisper is a bit louder than intended and I hear sniggers coming from where Morgan is sitting. Packing my things up I stutter out, “I-I need to go.”

Hurrying down the steps of the classroom, I bolted through the door and out the building making a mad dash across the campus towards the clinic. Bursting through the entrance I look around for anyone to help me and thank the stars that Healer B is walking to the front. “Help me! My skin feels like it’s on fire and I can’t stop scratching myself. It feels like bugs are crawling all over me!”

“Follow me dear.” He walks me into the room with hospital beds and directs me to sit down on one so he can assess the situation. “Someone has put an itching spell on you dear. Let me go and grab a soothing potion.” Healer B quickly walks out of the room and returns just as quickly. “Run a warm bath and then dump the entire bottle into the water. In ten minutes time the spell will break, and you’ll be good to go.” Nodding my head I hop off the bed but he stops me for a second longer has he says, “I advise you to talk to the Defensive spells Professor and see if you can start learning protection spells sooner rather than later.”

“Okay,” I mumble. He’s right of course I need to be able to deflect future spells from being cast on me. But at this exact moment my only concern is getting to my bathroom and bathing.

Braeden

I’ve tolerated all I can from Morgan’s little revenge tactics on Blaise. As soon as the Professor releases the class I storm across the room and slam Morgan against the egg-shell painted brick wall. I grip her arms to keep her pinned to the wall as I snarl out, “if you do one more spell or attempt to hurt Blaise in any way again, I. Will. End. You.”

The girl has nerve though, I’ll give her that as she spouts off, “I don’t know what you’re talking about Braeden! I haven’t done anything to that little bitch! And why do you care? I thought you said breaking things off with me had nothing to do with her.” She curls her lip in a sneer.

“It didn’t, but I won’t tolerate you tormenting her or anyone for that matter!” I growl out. “So, knock it off unless you want to be in a world of hurt.” Morgan just glares at me, so I give her a little shove into the wall before releasing her and stomping away.

I spot Carden leaning casually against the wall in the hallway waiting for me. He pushes his body from off the wall with his foot and walks up to me. “I swear to the moon I’m going to kill that bitch!” He nods and grunts at the same time and I can feel the anger flowing off him in waves. Blaise may not retaliate but that doesn’t mean I won’t.
