Bride of the vampire
Chapter twenty two

"Who the heck is that? Go check," he commanded, his voice laced with authority and concern. His men, loyal and fearless, immediately sprang into action, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. But before anyone could react, a figure emerged from the shadows, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. It was Liam, a cunning and unpredictable adversary. His eyes locked onto Don, his gaze filled with a mixture of amusement and contempt.

"Ain't you such a coward? Attacking from the back?" Liam taunted, his fingers toying with the cold metal of his pistol. The glint of the moonlight reflected off the weapon, adding an eerie aura to the tense atmosphere.

Don, undeterred by Liam's taunts, chuckled darkly. "Oh, the Alpha and his little beta," he sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. The two men stood face to face, their animosity palpable.

"Seriously, you two? You think you can take me on?" Don's voice dripped with arrogance as he questioned their audacity. "Do you have a death contract?" he added, his words laced with a hint of mockery.

Aiden, standing beside Liam, remained silent, his eyes locked onto Don. With a steely determination, he raised his gun and fired, aiming straight at Don's heart. But to everyone's astonishment, Don's body seemed to defy the laws of nature. The bullet made contact, but instead of piercing his flesh, it simply bounced off, leaving Don unscathed

"Seriously? Is that all you got, little beta?" Don's voice dripped with condescension as he taunted Aiden, his invincibility fueling his arrogance.

But before Don could revel in his victory, Liam let out a guttural groan, his body contorting and shifting. In a matter of seconds, he transformed into a majestic wolf, his fur glistening under the moonlight. Aiden followed suit, his body undergoing a similar metamorphosis.

The sight of the two wolves standing before him sent a chill down Don's spine. He had underestimated their power, their ability to tap into their primal instincts. The tables had turned, and Don found himself facing a force far greater than he had anticipated.

"We've got more coming," Liam smirked, his voice now a low growl, a menacing warning of the impending danger.

A fierce battle erupted as Liam lunged at Don, while Aiden fearlessly confronted his adversaries.

But as the fight escalated, something strange happened. Don's hands began to grow larger, becoming grotesquely disproportionate to his body. Damien's eyes widened in disbelief. He had seen hands like those before, but he couldn't quite place where.

Damien couldn't help but shake his head in frustration. Even Aiden, who was not known for his combat skills, seemed to be faring better than Liam.

"Seriously, Liam, did your father not teach you any better than resorting to stealing information? Look, even a rat would outperform you in combat," Damien shouted in frustration, unable to contain his anger any longer.

Don, now sporting an evil smirk, managed to overpower Liam and pinned him to the ground, ready to deliver a fatal blow. Damien's fury reached its peak, and he broke free from his chair, lunging towards Don with a powerful punch that sent him flying off of Liam.

"Now it's the master's turn," Damien sneered, a triumphant smirk spreading across his face.

Don slowly rose from the floor, but to Damien's astonishment, he began to transform into something monstrous.

"Slay monster? But I captured you!." Damien questioned, his surprise evident in his voice.

Confusion clouded Damien's thoughts as he wondered how the monster had managed to appear here.

"Wrong! You took my father away, not me," Don groaned, his voice filled with bitterness.

"I'm Dante Olson, also known as Don!". Dante said confidently, his voice carrying a hint of authority.

Damien suddenly burst into laughter, his eyes filled with malice.

"So, I've captured your father, and yet you're here searching for the white goblin instead? If I were your father, I would have rid the world of you the day you were born," Damien sneered, his words dripping with venom. Dante brushed off Damien's taunts, his determination unwavering.

"Enough with the introductions. It's time for you to witness the culmination of my thousands of years of training," Dante declared, his voice filled with a quiet intensity. With a swift motion, Damien charged at him, and the battle began. The clash between the two warriors was fierce and relentless. Dante fought with every ounce of strength he possessed, but Damien proved to be a formidable opponent. Eventually, Dante's energy waned, and he collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.

Damien, revelling in his victory, summoned a sword with a dark aura, its malevolent power evident to all who beheld it. Dante's eyes widened in shock as he recognized the weapon. "A demonic sword?" he exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief.

"Surprised? I expected nothing less. Now, it's time for you to meet your demise," Damien sneered, raising the sword high above his head, ready to strike the final blow.

But just as Damien was about to deliver the fatal blow, Dante's voice rang out, filled with desperation. "Max!" he yelled, his voice echoing through the air.

Damien paused, confusion flickering across his face. "He was the one who betrayed you," Dante revealed, a sly smirk playing on his lips.

"He told me about your weaknesses and the powers of the white goblin. He has been working for me all along."

"What? Max would never do such a thing," Damien whispered, his shock causing him to momentarily lower his guard.

Seizing the opportunity, Dante swiftly launched himself at Damien, his movements fueled by a newfound strength. Damien, caught off guard, was unable to defend himself as Dante ran for his life. "Damien, listen to me! Trust Max, he would never betray you," Aiden pleaded, attempting to reason with Damien.

But before he could finish his sentence, Damien's rage consumed him, and he grabbed Aiden by the neck, his eyes turning red and his fangs bared.

Struggling for breath, Aiden managed to gasp out, "Let's go, Damien."

Liam, unable to bear witness, intervened, forcefully pushing Damien away. "Let's go, off my beta," Liam commanded, his voice laced with anger and disappointment.

Enraged, Damien roared and hurled the sword at Liam, aiming for his heart. The deadly weapon hurtled through the air, but miraculously, it stopped just inches away from Liam's chest.

Liam, his heart pounding with the realisation of how close he had come to death, knew that one wrong move could have cost him his life.

"Ungrateful! We just saved you, and yet you dare to treat us like this," Liam spat, his bitterness evident in his voice.

"One more word from you, and you will join your ancestors," Damien threatened, his voice filled with a chilling menace.

[ DAMIEN'S POV]

I can't believe Max, could do something like that. He was the only one who knew my deepest weakness, and now I'm left questioning who else could be responsible.

Fueled by anger, I sprinted through the dense forest, my heart pounding in my chest. Thoughts of betrayal consumed my mind, but suddenly, Delilah's face appeared in my thoughts. She was a witch, known for her dark magic and seductive ways.

Without hesitation, I made my way to Delilah's eerie witch's house, the air thick with anticipation. As I entered, her presence was immediately felt. A wicked smirk played on her lips as she looked at me, her eyes filled with a mix of amusement and desire.

"Look who we have here," she taunted, her voice dripping with seduction. "I've been expecting you for a while now."

Her hands gilded sensually over my body, sending shivers down my spine. The intensity of the moment was overwhelming, and I found myself giving in to the temptation that lay before me.

"Make me forget," I commanded, my voice laced with desperation.

Delilah's eyes sparkled with mischief as she whispered,

"Your wish is my command."

She slowly began to undress, revealing her enticing figure. In that moment, I knew I would regret this decision, but the thought of seeking revenge on Max consumed my every thought. Sex became the only escape from the anger and betrayal that plagued my mind.

"Oh, Damien," Delilah moaned, her voice filled with a mixture of pleasure and pain as I pleasured her with my fingers.

Driven by my anger, I pushed her onto the bed and sucked on her nipples with a roughness that mirrored my emotions. The anger fueled my actions as I continued to pleasure her, my fingers moving with a force that mirrored my inner turmoil. She moaned, a combination of pleasure and pain escaping her lips.

In a moment of vulnerability, Delilah lifted her head, attempting to kiss me. Filled with a surge of anger,

I slapped her across the face.

Ahh!" She screamed, her hands trembling as she clutched her face in shock and disbelief. The pain of rejection and humiliation etched across her features, her eyes welling up with tears.

"I don't kiss sluts," I coldly spat out, my words dripping with disdain and arrogance. The venom in my voice only fueled her anguish, causing her to recoil further.

As I prepared to enter her, a voice suddenly pierced through the tension-filled air. It was Dagon, my loyal companion, his voice laced with desperation and concern. His presence was unexpected, as he only emerged when summoned. Why was he here now?

"Don't do this, Damien," he pleaded, his voice trembling with a mix of fear and genuine care. His words hung heavy in the air, a plea for reason amidst the chaos.

I scoffed, my anger flaring up at his audacity to question my actions. "You are in no position to tell me, your master, what to do," I roared, my voice reverberating through the room. The power I held over him was undeniable, and I relished in exerting my dominance.

But Dagon persisted, his voice filled with a sense of urgency. "Your power and life will be in her hands the moment you sleep with her. Please, Damien, listen," he implored, his words carrying a weight of caution and concern. My anger surged, threatening to consume me. No one dared to challenge my powers, and Dagon's words only fueled my rage. "No one can kill or stop my powers," I bellowed, my voice laced with a dangerous edge. "One more word from you, and I will banish you from my presence forever."

And then, he uttered a name that struck a chord deep within me. "Did you think about Crystal?" Dagon's voice trembled, his words hanging in the air like a haunting melody.

Crystal. The name echoed through my mind, awakening memories and emotions long buried. Confusion and realisation washed over me, as I struggled to comprehend the significance of her name in this moment of chaos.
