"Do you like me at all? Even if it's a little bit". He stuttered.

"How.. How do .. you feel about me?". He stammer, completely nervous as he wait patiently for my response

Max looked at Aiden patiently, debating whether he felt the same way or not. Even though he loves Aiden's touch, he wasn't sure what he felt was love or lust.

He could see the love Aiden has for him in his eyes. For the first time, he knows the feeling of being loved by someone.

How come he didn't notice Aiden's feelings all this well? Maybe because he was blinded by rage.

He looked at Aiden once again.

Do I love him? He found himself asking this question.

He processed by touching Aiden's Face. Caressing it gently. He shivered at his own actions.

He could not tell whether he loved him or not but he was sure that he felt different around him.

"Max". Aiden whispered his name.

"You can think about it, I'm not forcing you to love or like me. As long as you are by my side, it's enough for me but I will be courting you till you realize your feelings for me". Aiden said to him. "I'm sorry".

"Shh you don't have to be, I love you ok?". He kissed his forehead and cuddle him to bed back.

"Since when did you know I was your mate? ". Max asked.

"The first time we fought, but I was already in love with you before then. I was willingly to give up my mate for you if it turns out you weren't ". Aiden Said. "But isn't your mate supposed to be a female Wolf?".

Aiden stood speechless, he knew he had lied to max. All he told was one lie but now he has to lie to cover up again.

Heavens knows he doesn't want to do this but....

"It doesn't matter. "

"Max". He called

"Mmmm".

"Promise me, no matter what happens in the future you won't leave me and you will listen to what I have to say first".

Max looked at him and smiled.

"As long as you don't lie to me or do anything that will hurt me. ".

And there was the problem.... The lie he told.

Aiden cuddles him closer. Like he will lose him any seconds.

"Please don't ever leave me max. I love you too much. I didn't mean to lie but my love for you is just too much". Aiden cries in his thoughts.

Crystal sat patiently on the hospital's bed, waiting to see if Damien will come see her or not.

Lucy had gone out to get food for her.

The door was pushed open, raising her eyebrows excitedly thinking it was damien.

But unfortunately it was Liam, holding a bouquet.

"Hi baby girl". He waved.

She almost hiss in annoyance.

"Hey Liam,. What are you doing here?".

"Chill out, I just came to see you. I heard you got shot". He said, giving her the flower and a pack of chocolate and ice cream. "How are you feeling?". He asked

"Fine". She replied bluntly.

"And wagers Damien?". He laughed.

"Oh he's not here. He couldn't even protect you well and now he can't stand by you in your tough times?". He mocked her.

Crystal signed. She was already having a headache thinking about the whole situation. The last thing she wanted was another person adding to her stress.

"I don't seem to understand something, do you know Damien from anywhere or you guys are just business enemies"? She query him

"He killed my girlfriend".

Crystal gasped

"He did what??

"You heard me right, Damien and I used to be best friends. Even though our family was enemies and business rivals, always wanted to kill each other. We were still friends. And then Olivia came, she fell in love with me. Damien could not handle that because he thought he was the handsome one, she should have liked him and not me. He decided to kill her because he couldn't get her".

Crystal stared at him in shock.

She was replaceing it hard to believe what he was saying.

They are business rivals right? He could have just made it up.

"Use the door please". She said,

" Being with Damien is.....

"I won't repeat myself". She yelled.

Liam stared at her angrily before leaving.

He's lying. She thought.

Lucy will be here soon, she will just ask her. She must know since she has been taking care of Damien for so long.

But what if he's telling the truth?

Could Damien have done that? Killed a lady because he couldn't get her??
