Chapter forty three

"Liam himself did. He took her to the supernatural border," Max replied, still trembling.

Damien's eyes widened in shock. He knew liam was greedy for powers but he had never thought he would go this far, he never imagined he would harm an innocent person for it. "Get in the car, we have to go save her," Damien said, his voice firm.

Max nodded and quickly followed Damien to his car. They drove in silence, both lost in their own thoughts.

Damien couldn't stop thinking about how he had failed to protect Crystal. He had promised to keep her safe, but he had let her fall into Liam's hands. He knew he had to make it right and rescue her as soon as possible. If only he had follow his thoughts when he was sensing danger then this would have happened

As they approached the supernatural border, Damien could feel the tension in the air. He knew that crossing the border was dangerous and his true form will be reviewed, but he also knew that he had to save Crystal, no matter what. As soon as they stepped out of the car and cross the border. Waking into a whole different world.

Their eyes glinted in the darkness, reflecting the light like a diamond

Immediately the werewolf sensed the unfamiliar scent, they all went on alert, ready to attack and devour the strange scent.

Damien moved with a supernatural speed as he faced off against the snarling wolves. His eyes glinted with coldness. The wolves circled around him, baring their teeth and growling menacingly.

Damien was not intimidated at all. His movements were almost too fast as five wolves dropped dead immediately.

He was ready to destroy the Whole Park for one person.

The other wolves hesitated for a moment, taken back by his strength and speed. Both they quickly recover Snarling and snapping as they launch another attack. Despite their ferocity, the wolves were still no match for him, one by one they fell to his blow, their wolfy body crumbling to the ground with a final painful whisper. Damien's heart pounds in fear when he hears the painful cry of crystal.

"You can go to her, I will take care of this minis". Max said.

"I hope you don't fail this time".

Damien's heart raced as he sprinted towards the haunting sound of Crystal's cries, his desperation fueling his every step. With a powerful kick, he forcefully broke open the heavy dungeon door, the sound echoing through the dimly lit chamber.

His anger surged to new heights as his eyes fell upon the horrifying sight before him. Crystal, his beloved, was suspended on a cruel chain, her delicate body marred by a tapestry of bruises. The sight of her pain ignited a fire within Damien, intensifying his determination to rescue her from this nightmarish ordeal.

Crystal's heart skipped a beat as she caught sight of Damien bursting into the room. A glimmer of hope flickered in her eyes, a beacon of light amidst the darkness that had consumed her. She had feared that death was imminent, but now, with Damien's arrival, a surge of optimism coursed through her veins.

Xavier trembled in fear as Damien's piercing gaze locked onto Crystal's. The intensity in Damien's eyes was palpable, radiating a fierce determination to save her from this hellish torment.

A gasp escaped Crystal's lips as she beheld Damien in his entirety. Blood dripped from his hands, evidence of the battles he had fought to reach her side. But it was not just his hands that bore the marks of his struggle. A horn protruded from his forehead, a grotesque testament to the darkness that had consumed him. His teeth, once ordinary, had elongated into sharp fangs, adding to the aura of danger that surrounded him. His skin, pale and ethereal, seemed to emit an otherworldly glow, accentuating the presence of a mysterious horn on his head.

As Damien drew nearer, Crystal couldn't help but be both terrified and captivated by his transformation. The sight of him, a creature of both beauty and darkness, filled her with a mix of awe and trepidation. She knew that this was the man who would stop at nothing to save her, even if it meant embracing the monstrous within himself.

His eyes were bloodshot and very deadly.

"Liam for old time sake. I will give you two opinions". Damien roared angrily.

"You either leave silently or I send your head to your father's park".

Liam stared at him angrily. He knew he was no match for Damien now. He was just about to gain crystal's power when he walked in. Fighting Damien will be setting himself on fire.

He left the room quietly with Xavier. Just immediately Damien called out his demons.

"make sure you don't kill him but next time I see him I want to feel sorry for him".

"I'd expected better from you Mia. If I have known I would have killed you on the spot that day." Damien said in low but thunderous voice.

"I saw Damien I never....".

"Enough." Damien's voice boomed through the room, filled with a mix of anger and frustration. His eyes narrowed as he glared at Mia, his eyes burning with intensity.

"you thought I wouldn't notice you?? Trying to make yourself invisible? I gave you those powers Mia". Damien thundered.

His grip tightened around her neck, forcefully slamming her against the wall. Mia gasped for air, her eyes wide with fear.

"How dare you even think of hurting her?" he seethed, his voice laced with venom.

"Damien.. pls.... Stop". Crystal weakly whispered, her voice filled with pain.

Finally breaking free from his anger, Damien released his grip on Mia's throat. With one last deadly glare, he turned his attention to Crystal, rushing to her side.

Crystal watched in awe as he turned towards her, gently untying her chains despite the vibration of anger in him. Her feet stumbled as she fell on him. He caught her, holding her stead. She looked at him, her eyes filled with hope, gratitude, and something else.

She wanted to say something but she slowly lost consciousness

He carried her in a bridal way and was about to walk out.

"YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT!".
