CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery -
Chapter 442
Scott knew Nina inside out. Everything became crystal clear to him.
"Great, you two are on the same page now, and I've become the outsider!" Nash's heart turned cold. His gaze shifted to Nina, a smirk playing on his lips. "You want to tell me this, don't you? You and Scott have the closest relationship!"
From that moment on, Nina knew they had completely severed ties. It still hurt her.
However, knowing how caring he was towards Miranda, it was an insurmountable barrier even if their marriage persisted.
He would never let go of Miranda. For her, it was a thorn in her side, a nagging feeling that would not go away.
"Think what you will," Nina said. "I've said my piece."
"There's no need for you to say anything," Nash retorted. With icy resolve, he pulled out their marriage certificate from his inner coat pocket.
Holding up the certificate, he scoffed at Nina. "Our marriage, you don't want it? Well, neither do !!"
Before their eyes, he tore up the marriage certificate. Nina watched in silence as their marriage certificate, along with their wedding photo, was ripped into two halves, symbolizing the death of their relationship. Empty and unsure of her own feelings, she could only watch as the torn pieces fluttered to the ground like snowflakes.
"Nina, from now on, we're done!" Nash's cold words hung in the air as he turned and walked out of the hospital room without another glance back at her.
Nina remained silent, her gaze blank, unable to react for a moment. She instinctively lowered her head, staring at the scattered fragments on the ground, including their shattered wedding photo. Nash's face in the photo was devoid of warmth or affection.
She was like a young girl experiencing her first love, her face radiant with happiness and joy.
Her marriage with Nash had always been like this-only she found happiness in marrying him. As for Nash? His thoughts never lingered on her.
Nina crouched down, her fingers tracing the shattered pieces of the torn-up marriage certificate on the ground, picking them up one by one. Watching her, Scott could tell that she was also grieving deep down. She could not remain indifferent to Nash. A tear fell to the ground.
Quickly, Scott reached out and grabbed her hand.
Nina looked up at him blankly. "What's wrong?"
"You... you're crying," Scott said, his gaze fixed on her. "Do you love him that much?"
Nina did not even realize she was crying. Hearing his words, she quickly wiped away her tears, blinked rapidly, and forced the tears back. "Do I? Maybe my eyes are just irritated."
"Nina, is there anything you can't tell me?" Scott asked. "I know you love Nash."
Nina could not hold back anymore. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at him. "How did you know? Why would you know?"
She thought she had hidden it well, but she had not expected Scott to replace out.
"Because I care about you," Scott replied calmly. "Naturally, I discovered the secret buried deep in your heart."
"This is not good, not good at all," Nina started sobbing, covering her face with her hands. "Now I have no secrets left. You shouldn't know this. It's embarrassing for me. Why did I have to fall for him and make myself so miserable?
"I shouldn't love him!" she exclaimed, her emotions boiling over, tears cascading uncontrollably down her cheeks.
This was a secret—a secret she could not bring herself to share.
