They walked inside first, with Wilfred following. He hesitated for a moment as he stepped in but ultimately followed through.

Yvonne entered, placed her bag on the side, and plopped down on the sofa. Meanwhile, Nina went to the kitchen to prepare three bowls of noodles.

Wilfred stood by the door, his eyes scanning the room. He remained silent with a slight smile on his face.

Yvonne noticed him standing there and said, "Why are you standing? Come sit."

Wilfred glanced at her before walking over. Yvonne poured him some tea, curiosity evident on her face. She could not help but be intrigued by this handsome man. It seemed Nina had a knack for attracting good-looking men.

"What do you do for a living? How old are you? How many people in your family?" Yvonne asked, sipping her tea like a family member grilling a potential suitor.

"Doctor," Wilfred replied simply in a casual tone, as he picked up the cup to drink tea.

Yvonne noticed a string of beads on his wrist, which looked unique and added to his mysterious aura. "I see you're wearing a string of beads. This is my first time seeing it. Is it for religious purposes?" Wilfred squinted slightly. "No, but I'm used to wearing them."

Sensing his reluctance to share more, Yvonne decided to drop the subject. Not everyone was as open as she was. She excused herself and headed to the kitchen.

"Sorry for making you work so early in the morning. I almost forgot you're pregnant. Let me help," Yvonne offered, trying to take over the cooking. Though she had not cooked before, she figured it could not turn out too bad.

Nina declined, "I can manage cooking noodles. I usually cook for myself anyway. You go relax. I've got this."

Seeing Nina wouldn't let her help, Yvonne stood beside her and asked, "Has Nash come looking for you?"

"He has," Nina replied.

Yvonne probed further, "He still came to replace you despite everything? That's not really the behavior you'd expect from a big CEO, right?"

She only knew about their marriage from the stage when it was falling apart. But Nash's persistence did not quite match the idea that he had no feelings for her.

"Nina, are you two not divorced yet?"

Nina sighed, "We haven't gotten around to it. We planned to, but something always came up. So, it just hasn't happened."

"You two have been trying to divorce for ages," Yvonne noted. "Being stuck in limbo like this must be tough."

It also affected Nina's chances of starting a new relationship. By this time, Nina had finished preparing the noodles. They brought them out to the table where Wilfred was seated. Nina called him over to join them.

Yvonne noticed the strawberries on the table. "What kind of strawberries are these? They're so dark red. I've never seen this kind before."

"Wilfred brought them," Nina explained.

Yvonne looked at Wilfred, "Your name isn't common, but it suits you."

Wilfred smiled without saying anything.

"Can I try one?" Yvonne asked.

"Go ahead," Nina replied.

Yvonne took a bite. "These are so sweet! They're delicious, Nina, you should try one."

Nina tasted one and found it incredibly fragrant, with a perfect balance of sweetness and a hint of tartness. These tasted much better than the strawberries usually found in stores. "These are really good," Nina said, eating a second one. "These are the best strawberries I've ever had."

Yvonne nodded in agreement.

Seeing Nina enjoy the strawberries brought a smile to Wilfred's face. "If you like them, I'll bring more next time I have a batch ready."
