CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery -
Chapter 907
Micah's idea was to let Nina have some time to interact before forming a judgment. But for Nina, she wanted to sever all ties with the tribe immediately.
Before Nash's incident, she was contemplating negotiating with Micah and the Pharaoh for an antidote. But now, she could not think of Nash without feeling a deep, unbearable pain. "If you don't want trouble here, please leave." Nina pointed towards the tent's entrance.
Micah remained silent for a moment but then complied. Before leaving, he stated firmly, "Nina, I'll be waiting for you to come around."
Nina, however, knew she would never come around.
After Micah left, Nina turned to Wilfred with a frown. "So just because they promised to turn you back into a normal person, you're back to being their lackey?"
It was Wilfred who had let Micah in. Given what Micah had said to her before, Nina was seething with anger.
Wilfred looked down. "Nina, please don't be angry. I just wanted to help. You don't have many relatives left, and you're struggling so much here. I thought if your family could reunite..." Wilfred looked genuinely remorseful.
Seeing Wilfred like this, Nina realized the reality of the situation. Everyone has their own desires, and who wouldn't want to become normal again?
"I don't need you to worry about me. If you've made a deal with them, I can help you," Nina said softly, her lips pressed into a thin line.
She was willing to play along if it meant helping Wilfred.
However, from Wilfred's perspective, Nina embracing her role as the tribe's princess could only be beneficial for her. He believed that pretending could lead to a genuine acceptance. "That would be great," Wilfred said, a glint of hope in his eyes.
Nina gave a small, resigned smile and said no more.

In the presidential palace of Salterra, a man was laying on a large bed over two meters wide. He was tall and wore a crystal mask on his face. Around him, guards and attendants were bustling back and forth. A doctor was attending to him.
A man, approximately in his fifties with streaks of gray in his hair, stood not far from the bed with his hands behind his back. "How is he now?" he asked.
The doctor replied slowly, "President, he is in critical condition. The bullet barely missed his heart..."
The bullet was just three millimeters away from the heart. Although it missed the vital organ, the man had multiple gunshot wounds and was also poisoned. The doctor explained the situation to the president.
"I don't care what it takes, you must save him. If he dies, you all die with him!" the president commanded.
"Yes, sir!" The entire presidential palace was now a hive of urgent activity.
Meanwhile, at the York residence, Sally and William had received news of Nash's death in battle.
Sally, in particular, blamed everything on Nina.
She urgently contacted Felix, "I need to speak to Nina!"
