Micah explained that while the Pharaoh was deeply engrossed in his experiments, much of the power was in Seth's hands. The Pharaoh was neither senile nor unconscious. He was aware of Seth's actions and tacitly approved them.

Now, the Pharaoh had stepped down, hoping Micah would reform the Yaren tribe.

"Alright, you should rest. I won't push you, nor will I let anyone disturb you," Micah sighed, leaving the room to give Nina some space.

After he left, a helper brought an array of food, but Nina did not touch any of it. She pulled Orion close, "You must be hungry. Eat as much as you want." Orion, who had been wandering alone, had never seen such an abundance of food. Nina wanted him to enjoy a good meal since he was with her now. However, she was surprised when Orion did not eat a single bite. Instead, he picked up a set of utensils and handed them to her, his eyes full of hope. Nina patted his head, "Alright, we'll eat together."

The next day, needing to go out, Nina found Mr. Joker, "I don't want a repeat of yesterday's incident. Find someone reliable to watch over this child." "Yes, Miss Ivy," Mr. Joker replied respectfully.

Before leaving, Nina instructed Orion, "This place is different from Salterra. Don't wander off. Wait for me to return, and then I'll take you with me." Orion nodded, watching Nina leave.

Nina and Micah walked through the streets of the Yaren tribe. It was a stark contrast to the war-torn, ravaged place she had seen five years ago. The tribe had undergone significant changes.

Some locals recognized Micah, greeting him warmly, "Mr. Micah, is this your fiancée?"

"No, this is my sister, Ivy," Micah introduced her naturally. Seeing the simple, honest smiles on the people's faces, Nina could not help but smile back.

Micah held Nina's hand, cautioning her as they walked, "Seth will definitely show up. Stay close to me, don't wander, and stay alert."

"Alright," Nina agreed.

Even though Micah had arranged everything, the large crowd and sudden chaos caused Nina to become separated from him. Surrounded by the flames and force of the explosions, her instinct was to flee for safety. However, several men quickly encircled her. As Nina tensed up, preparing to outsmart these men, a man appeared in front of her. The sight of the silver mask struck a chord deep within her.

Grabbing his collar, she tried to steady herself despite her racing thoughts. The man swiftly dealt with the surrounding threats and then grasped her waist, saying, "I'll take you back to Micah."

His voice was raspy and rough, nothing like Nash's once deep and gentle tone.

But Nina felt that all of this was too much of a coincidence. She had never met this man before. The last time could have been him saving Micah, possibly wanting to collaborate with him. But this time, why would he appear out of nowhere just to save her?

Seizing the momentary calm amidst the chaos, she wrapped one arm around the man's waist and reached for his mask with the other.

Her voice trembled as she whispered, "Nash, is it you?"
