CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery -
Chapter 991
And this decision was one she and Nash had made together. Seeing the determination and confidence in Nina's eyes, Micah knew there was no point in trying to persuade her otherwise.
However, he was determined to provide her with all the support she needed. In a hoarse voice, he said, "Nina, you're always welcome here. If you ever feel like managing the tribe, the position of leader is yours. "And if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call me. I'll be there to help you immediately."
Nash had the financial resources, and Nina had her own savings.
Power? The influence of the York family was still strong.
Even though she had transferred her shares to Aunt Zoe before leaving, Aunt Zoe never accepted them. Everything was still under Nina's name.
Once they returned, she would restore everything to its rightful place. With Nash's business acumen, he could easily rebuild a commercial empire. They would not lack for anything in terms of material wealth or living conditions.
Micah sighed deeply. He knew he could not change Nina's mind, but he had something to say to Nash. "I've looked into your past. You kept my sister by your side for seven years, and she waited for you for another five. If you're not planning to stay in the tribe, the first thing you need to do when you get back to Birkham is to plan your wedding. And if you ever hurt my sister again, I won't hesitate to make you pay."
There was a fierce glint in Micah's eyes. If Nash dared to hurt Nina, he would stop at nothing to make him pay dearly.
"A wedding is a must," Nash said, gazing at Nina with deep affection.
He felt he owed her so much. For years, he had not realized his true feelings, and later, he let her believe he was dead for five years. He felt he deserved to be punished for that.
"Then start preparing once you're back. Let me know the date, and Father and I will be there," Micah added.
"Of course," Nash and Nina responded in unison.
They decided to return to Birkham the next day. There was not much to pack, just a few personal items. But before they left, Pharaoh approached Nina.
He handed her a bank card. "Take this with you. I'll make sure money is deposited into it every month. If you need anything, I'm always here as your support."
Nina was leaving, and he could not stop her, but there were still many matters he needed to take care of in the tribe. Once those were settled, he planned to visit Birkham to see his daughter and grandson.
If he could adapt to life there, he would stay long-term, close to Nina. He did not have much else to do and could help take care of his grandchild.
"Really, I don't need the money. We have enough. When we get back, I'll replace a job, and Nash has his company. We'll be able to support ourselves," Nina said, gently pushing the card back.
But Pharaoh pressed it back into her hands, his gaze firm. "I understand your thoughts, but trust me, this time, I'll make sure you're protected. If you're still concerned, why not leave Orion here with me?"
They were about to take a big risk by trying to lure Dominic out, and even with all their precautions, there would still be danger. Keeping Orion with them could expose him to that danger. It might be safer to leave him behind. Nina bit her lip, knowing that Orion would be safe here.
But if they left him behind...
