"Yerick, you're already eighteen years old and of age now. How could you behave like a child?" Rosalie scolded him as if he were a child. In fact, she was merely three years older than Yerick. Yerick bowed his head, looking pitiful. "I'm sorry, Rose. I was wrong."

"Don't act pitiful. Do you think that will make me give in to you?"

Sebastian suddenly chuckled. It was great that Rosalie saw the true colors of this pretentious two-faced brat.

"What's so funny?" Rosalie immediately turned her attention to Sebastian. "Are you very proud of what you've done?"

The smile on Sebastian's face faded. "I didn't mean that."

Rosalie was too much. How could she bring him down like this in front of Yerick?

"If that's not what you mean, why did you laugh? Weren't you as immature as he was? Pretending to have a headache and collapsing weakly on the floor. Why don't you go be an actor, since you have such great acting chops?" Sebastian forced a smile. "Rose, my head really hurts! Ouch..."

He started rubbing his temple again.

Rosalie folded her arms across her chest. "You're 27 years old. Why are you being so immature? Are you on the set of a drama series? Why would you suddenly have a headache in the middle of a meal?"

She could sense it when Sebastian really had a headache, but this time, she could tell that he was acting. It looked way too fake.

Sebastian immediately put his hand down as his head hung low, not daring to look at her.

"I'm sorry. I didn't do it on purpose."

"You didn't do it on purpose, but you did it anyway." Rosalie pointed at the both of them. "Both of you have problems."

She didn't display any favoritism between them.

"Both of you clearly know that I'm due for an operation tomorrow, but you're still playing games like this now."

Her words pierced through their hearts, blatantly exposing them for what they were trying to do.

"Rose, don't be angry," Yerick said piteously as he bit his lips.

"I... I didn't have my parents around since I was young and was deprived of love. You treat me so well, and I couldn't help but want you to show me more care and concern. That's why I pretended to bite my own tongue. I'm sorry, Rose." Yerick wiped the tears from his face, looking as pitiful as can be. Seeing him weeping pitifully made Rosalie's heart ache.

"Alright now, don't cry. You're already eighteen, but you're crying like a baby."

"Rose, don't be mad at me. I was wrong, and I won't do this again."

Sebastian really wanted to gouge Yerick's eyes out. How could he just cry at whim like that?

Rosalie could empathize with Yerick for being deprived of his parents' love since he was young. It certainly hadn't been easy on him.

"Alright now, I'm not mad at you anymore. Don't cry. I know you didn't have your parents around since you were young, and I can understand how you feel. Don't do this again, alright?" Rosalie said.

As long as he was willing to admit his mistake, she was willing to forgive him.

"Okay," Yerick said as he nodded profusely. "Thank you, Rose."

"Rose, since you've forgiven him, forgive me, too."

Sebastian refused to concede defeat. How could Rosalie forgive Yerick just because of a few tears he shed? Were his tears so precious? As precious as diamonds?

Was she so easily fooled? What a foolish woman she was!

"You have your father and sister. What's your excuse?" Rosalie asked.

Sebastian pondered for a moment before saying in a small voice, "I lost my memories."

Rosalie was dumbfounded.

She sighed.

These two men were so troublesome.

Ahh!

She had a strong urge to scream.

Just then, a voice sounded from the door. "Rose, what's wrong?"

Yvonne walked in just in time to witness the strange scene.

She saw two men lying on the beds, with Rosalie looking beyond frustrated.
