The rain had stopped, but inside the car, Rosalie continued to cry, unable to hold back the overwhelming sadness in her heart.

Yvonne kept comforting her, but it was no use. "Stop crying. It's not good for the baby."

"I know, but I really can't hold it in," Rosalie sobbed.

"Rose, I understand how you feel, but you've already said everything you needed to say. Now, it's up to fate. You can't control what he thinks, but you can control yourself. You have surgery tomorrow, so focus on that first. We can deal with everything else later. The most important thing right now is your baby."

Rosalie wiped away her tears. "I understand. Thank you, Vonnie. You've done so much for me, bringing me all this way to see Theo. At first, I thought you disliked him and didn't want me to see him. I never expected you'd end up helping me."

Yvonne responded, "We're good friends, after all. Seeing you like this, of course, I'd help you however I can. Even if I don't like Theodore, I care about you."

"Thank you." Rosalie sincerely thanked Yvonne. She never would have imagined that in the end, it was Yvonne who helped her accomplish the most important thing. Although she didn't get to see Theodore today, at least she had told him everything she needed to. Unfortunately, Theodore hadn't given her any response at all. "Rose, can I ask you a question?"

"What is it?"

"You and my brother have a fake marriage. If he regains his memory, and after you divorce him, will you reconcile with Theodore?"

Seeing how Rosalie was so tormented over Theodore, Yvonne found it hard to be sure of anything.

Previously, she was convinced that Rosalie would never reconcile with Theodore, but now, she wasn't so sure.

After all, people's feelings could change, and more often than not, those changes were completely unexpected.

Upon hearing Yvonne's question, Rosalie remained silent for a moment. Seeing her hesitate, Yvonne added, "If you don't want to tell me, that's okay. You don't have to." She didn't want to pressure Rosalie.

"Vonnie, it's not that I don't want to tell you, it's just that things have changed a bit."

"What's changed?" Yvonne asked.

Rosalie let out a soft sigh. "First of all, it's impossible for Theo and me to get back together. Even though this situation has happened and I feel guilty toward him, there's no way for us to reconcile. There's too much history between us, and it's left deep scars on both our hearts. I honestly can't imagine what it would be like to live with him again, and I'm sure he can't imagine it either."

Rosalie spoke earnestly. Although she wanted to see Theodore and felt guilty toward him, she had never considered getting back together with him.

"I see. So, what about you and my brother?" Yvonne pressed further.

Rosalie replied, "Vonnie, your brother and I have already agreed that as long as he doesn't bring up divorce, I won't mention it either."

Suddenly, Yvonne pulled the car over to the side of the road.

Rosalie asked in response, "Vonnie, what's wrong?"

"So, you're not divorcing my brother?"

Rosalie answered, "Yes, we made that clear yesterday."

Rosalie then told Yvonne about the promise she made to Sebastian the day before.

After hearing this, Yvonne was completely overwhelmed. "You actually promised my brother you wouldn't divorce him? Are you out of your mind?" Faced with Yvonne's sudden outburst, Rosalie asked in confusion, "You seem really upset. Do you want me to divorce your brother that badly?" "I..." Yvonne didn't know how to respond.
