Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) -
Chapter 733
Sebastian took a deep breath, his eyes growing frighteningly red.
It was all in the past-these were old chat records. At that time, Rosalie and Theodore were still married, so it was normal to have these conversations. He had no reason to be angry.
Now that Rosalie was his wife, such things would only happen between him and Rosalie. It was impossible for her and Theodore to have these kinds of conversations ever again.
Why was she still keeping old chat records, even after her divorce from Theodore? Did she still revisit these chats in the quiet of the night, reminiscing? Did Theodore really make her that happy back then?
Sebastian had made up his mind. He would be the only man to bring her joy from now on. Rosalie belonged entirely to him-her body, heart, and soul. They would also have children together. Rosalie was his, and no one else's. Sebastian silently prayed for her and the baby's safety. Though he despised Theodore, he had promised himself that he would care for the child once Rosalie gave birth. To him, Theodore's child would become his own. In his heart, he had already claimed both Rosalie and the child. Theodore could only watch from afar, left to suffer for the rest of his life. The woman he once failed to cherish would now be loved and protected by Sebastian. Why should he be forgiven just because he regretted hurting Rosalie?
Sebastian believed that Theodore's regret, no matter how genuine, could never undo the harm he had caused. The damage was done, and since Theodore had abandoned Rosalie for another, he no longer deserved her.
Even if Theodore was willing to sacrifice himself for Rosalie, Sebastian too would go to great lengths for her. Though he admitted to himself that he wasn't a good person, he vowed never to hurt or abandon her. His devotion ran deep, and everything he did was for her. "Rose, I truly love you. If one day you replace that I have changed, it will be because I love you too much," he thought.
Time ticked by. Sebastian waited anxiously.
Just then, a phone rang, interrupting his reverie. It wasn't his phone, but Rosalie's.
He took out her phone, and checked the caller ID.
[Mother-in-law]
It must be Theodore's mother. Even though Rosalie and Theodore were divorced, she still referred to Sydney as her mother-in-law.
How foolish was Rosalie? Sebastian shook his head helplessly, then answered the call.
Before he could speak, the caller immediately asked, "Rose, did you go to see Theo yesterday?"
Sebastian remained silent.
Sydney pressed, "Did you hear what I said? Why aren't you speaking?"
"I'm not Rose. I'm Sebastian."
Upon hearing his voice, Sydney immediately asked, "Why are you answering her phone? How did it end up with you?"
"Rose isn't in a position to take calls right now. If there's something you need to say, you can tell me."
"Will you tell her what I say?" Sydney's tone was filled with suspicion.
Sebastian replied, "You and Rose must meet eventually. I'm not that stupid. If you need to tell her something, tell me. If you don't trust me, you can tell her yourself later. But I must remind you, she needs to rest after the surgery. Don't do anything to agitate her." "So you mean, she's currently in surgery?"
"Yes, she's in the operating room now."
"Did she visit Theo last night?" Sydney pressed.
