Rosalie was unable to sleep, tossing and turning in bed.

She walked to the courtyard and sat on the swing, feeling the cool night breeze brushing past her cheeks.

Sebastian stopped right behind her with a soft blanket in hand, gently draping it over her shoulders.

Rosalie turned around and smiled. "Seb, why are you still awake?"

"You, too," Sebastian remarked as he sat next to her. "A penny for your thoughts?"

"I'm just worried about Grandma."

"I can understand that. To be honest, her condition is incurable, but she'll be fine as long as someone is watching her round the clock."

"I really want to take care of Grandma. If only I weren't pregnant."

Rosalie felt her heart breaking as she said so. She was so excited about having this baby, and insisted on having the baby even at the expense of her own life.

Yet now, she was lamenting the existence of the baby. She couldn't believe she was singing such a different tune right now.

Sebastian held her hand gently. "Rose, don't say that. Deliver the baby first. There'll be plenty of time in the future."

At the mention of time, Rosalie suddenly recalled that she had promised Sebastian that she would never divorce him.

She felt that Sebastian was relying very much on her, having lost his memories. If he regained his memories, though, she might be able to divorce him.

After that, she would be single once more and able to move back to Grandma's and take care of her over the long-term.

She was still pregnant right now, though. No matter what, she had to deliver her baby first.

What's more, Sydney was right. She had to pursue her studies. She wasn't able to do so or even work in the industry after her graduation because of her pregnancy.

She should be seizing this chance to pursue her studies while pregnant. She was confident she would be able to replace time.

"Seb, let's go abroad."

Sebastian was in disbelief over Rosalie's words.

He barely trusted Sydney at the start, but to his surprise, she really managed to persuade Rosalie.

The shock in Sebastian's eyes made Rosalie say, "We should have done so a long time ago, but things suddenly cropped up and we were delayed for so long. I did also promise you that I'd go with you. I want to go as soon as possible and help you regain your memories."

Sebastian smiled warmly. "Sure. When do you plan on us leaving?"

"Anytime works."

"Sure. Give me a few days to settle things at work."

He had to first buy over Farover Enterprise before he could leave.

"Sure."

Over the next two days, Sebastian busied himself with acquiring Farover Enterprise.

Geoffrey also came looking for him about it. Acquiring Farover Enterprise was a huge undertaking, and he undoubtedly heard about it.

"Why are you suddenly acquiring Farover Enterprise?"

"For the future development of the group," Sebastian said.

"So tell me, how will doing this help the group's future development? You're even acquiring it at such a high price."

"Dad, are you asking me a question?"

Geoffrey scoffed. "What else?"

"Then I have a question for you, too. I'll answer you after you answer my question."

"What is it?"

"What's your relationship with Sydney Harper?"

Geoffrey stood stunned for a moment.

His silence made Sebastian chuckle. "Can't answer that now, can you?"

"Seb, things between the two of us are complicated. I'll answer you eventually, but now's not the time," Geoffrey said with a rather heavy tone.

If he were to abruptly tell Sebastian about it when Sydney didn't, Sebastian might end up hating him even more.

He decided that if Sydney didn't tell Sebastian, he wouldn't either.

"If you think that's complicated, then my acquisition of Farover Enterprise is complicated too. Let's not pursue anything, and just let each other do what we each want to do."
