TEGAN'S P.O.V

I didn't overlook the fear in his eyes. He was at a loss for words. I'm not sure where the sudden burst of confidence came from. Maybe it was Ezra, maybe even Gemma. Or it was an instinct to protect my pup. Either way I meant every word. If he even dares to treat Elias other than the King's Heir, I will kill him with my bare hands, showing no remorse. I always wanted him to be happy, always wanting to please him. But now that I sit here staring at his weak demeanor, I could care less with how he feels or what he thinks. He could die today, and I may not even shed a tear, that's how much I didn't give a f**k. I hadn't realized this until today.

I wanted love and affection from him for so long without knowing what that was supposed to feel or look like. But now that I am a mother myself, I don't understand how he could ever treat his pup the way he did. It dawned on me when he spoke poorly of my child. Elias was an infant and didn't deserve the hate that man had in his heart. I'd be damned if he thought he could disrespect the future King because I was his mother.

"Now eat your dinner and shut the f**k up." I said letting out a bit of my powerful aura that festered inside of me.

He still hadn't said a word. However, his hussy of a wife thought she could.

"Drake dear, are you going to let her speak to you that way?"

His eyes darted over to her as fear crossed his face again.

"I'm sorry Jessie, was I unclear of what we were to be doing right now?" I asked, waiting for a response.

"It's Luna Jessie."

"It's Luna if I chose it to be. But I didn't, did I?" I asked in a threatening tone.

"Jess shut your fucking mouth." My father said under his breath.

She turned her face so that I could not see her as she whispered, also thinking I wouldn't be able to hear her.

"She is a mutt Drake, you said so yourself. An unworthy mutt who has no business being born to the Alpha family. Why should she be able to disrespect you in your own home?"

"I am far from a mutt, that is actually your bloodline if I'm not mistaken." I stated.

I had nothing against Omegas. I only said it to be a bitch. She may be a Luna by title, but she will always have the bloodline of an Omega. All eyes were now on me as I chewed my food. Silence all around the table.

"Momma, you can't let her talk like that, you're the Luna..." Allie tried saying as Jessie shushed her.

"You can hear?" My eldest brother Darion asked, I stuck my finger up as if saying give me a minute as I continued to eat.

"Man, that's some good food. Isn't it everyone?" I asked as I looked around the table. Ezra had a big smile on his face, making me feel that much more confident.

"Tegan... -" Darion started to say before I cut him off.

"It's Queen Tegan to you." I said before handing Elias to Ezra.

My eyes looking from one person to the next letting them know what I was going to say next was for them all.

"You all either treated me like shit or never said a word while I was being treated like shit, which is just as bad." I said as my eyes looked at Fredrick.

That was one thing I could say regarding him, he never tormented me, but he sure never tried stopping anyone who did.

"I'm sor.. -"

"No need to apologize now. It's a little too late for that isn't it? No matter. I only came for one purpose, and it was not to support Darion. I truly believe he is not worthy of the title, but he is the firstborn after all." I said, making his lip twitch as he held back a growl. "Go on, let it out. Nothing has stopped the aggression before. So, what's stopping you now?" I asked as I looked him in his eyes.

"You wouldn't be this confident if your Royal husband wasn't sitting next to you." Allie said, making me smile.

Goddess I was hoping she would speak to me. I have wanted nothing more than to treat her the way she did me all this time. A smile crept up on my face as I pushed the chair, backwards walking around to stand directly behind her.

"What was that Al?" I asked as my hand gently went into her hair, grabbing it hard enough to not hurt but to prove a point as I pulled her head backwards, her eyes connecting with mine as tears in her eyes sprang forward.

"LET HER GO!" Jessie screamed jumping up trying to grab at my arm. I stuck my hand out snatching her hand within my own as I squeezed enough to make her fall to her knees but not enough to break her bones.

"As I was saying. I am not the same girl I was when you all continuously hurt me. I will not tolerate disrespect from any of you. Nor will I allow anyone in this pack to treat me poorly ever again. I am not afraid to stand my ground and fight if need be. Don't worry I'm not biased; I'll take on a man just like I would a woman. Truthfully it wouldn't take much to tempt me, I already desire to hurt you all. With that being said, don't give me a reason to." I said releasing both Allie and Jessie as I went back to my seat. "You're different." Fredrick said stating the obvious.

"Fredrick, tomorrow you and I will have a talk in the office." I said avoiding his statement. "Oh, the office will be mine tomorrow." I said looking at both Darion and our father.

"Your bedroom is empty, use that." Darion stated.

"Meh, I will use the Alpha office. Appreciate the awesome gesture though." I said before looking back at Fredrick. "As I was saying, we will sit down and discuss your application to be the Alpha of The Silverline Pack."

"I don't have a chance, do I?" He asked, sorrow written on his face.

"I didn't say that. You have as many qualities as the others. I will not interview you as my brother. You'll have a fair shot as the others do." I said before looking at Ezra. "Isn't that, right?" I asked. "Yup." Ezra said as he took a bite of his own food.

"You're a woman, a woman shouldn't be making big decisions like that." Darion then said.

"Careful there big brother. I may just challenge you for your position so that I can recrown this pack a new Alpha. Dismantling Declan's leadership of the Red Blood Pack." I said threatful. "You wouldn't!" Darion screamed.

"Try me, I promise you won't like the outcome." I stated.
