It was like a dream. That's the only thing I feel right now. I can't still believe that my parents have approved my relationship with Evan. Was it because of the things I've said last night? Or did they finally realize that Evan has a sincere intention towards me?

But whatever the reason is, I would say that heart became at ease now that they approved our relationship. My heart doesn't feel the thorns anymore and I can breathe properly knowing my parents just gave us the blessing we need. It made me happy. They surely made me the happiest.

"Are you okay, Rish?" Evan asked me carefully when we went into his own office.

He explained that he went to a meeting with his secretary around seven in the morning reason why he wasn't able to call me, and I already forgave him for that knowing the nature of this business. Meetings at the most unexpected times can be done without my knowledge.

I sat on the couch just right in front of his office table. I licked my lips and breathed out as I am still trying to digest everything. I have so many questions running in my head, though I think I already knew the answers. This surprise is just unbelievable and mind blowing.

"I was just shocked that daddy already accepted you..." I said and looked at him carefully.

He crossed his arms on his chest and tilted his head as his gaze fixated on me. It's like he's trying to observe the emotion painted on my face and whatever thoughts I have in mind. He then nodded his head and sat beside me. He held my hand and squeezed it which made me feel more at ease.

"No more rules, love. From now on, I'll make sure to see you every day. You don't need to worry about our relationship anymore," he told me in his sweet voice before kissing the knuckles of my hand.

I can't stop smiling right now. I shook my head and bit my lower lip. Who would have thought that I'd be hearing this from him? From no other than Evan "Ruthless" Zendejas... will I get used to it? "That's too cheesy!" I commented but deep inside I am already feeling giddy.

He pursed his lips and eyed me intently. I gasped when he pulled me closer to him all of a sudden. He snaked his arm around my waist. I blinked my eyes twice as there is no distance between us. Our noses are almost touching the tip of each other.

I can smell his cool mint breathe and aftershave. My eyes went down his soft and red lips. I swallowed so hard I gazed it for a moment.

"Are you saying something Mrs. Zendejas?" he asked me huskily.

My heart skipped a beat as my mouth ran dry. He's teasing me again!

"E-excuse me! We're not yet married..." I swallowed hard and looked away. "You haven't proposed to me yet..." I whispered.

"What did you say?"

He squeezed my hand and to my surprise, he rested his head on my shoulder. I gazed back at him and saw that his eyes were already shut closed. He then hugged me tight. My heart is just pounding aggressively when he's being like this... sweet and clingy.

"Nothing..." I pouted my lips. "Are you tired?"

He nodded, "I need to recharge for ten minutes. Don't move, love."

"Hmmn, okay." I said. My hand traveled to his soft hair. "Thank you, Evan..."

The side of his lips curled up for a small smile. He breathed in and hugged me more.

"There's nothing I would not do for you, love. Every battle I had to fight through were all worth it, and you are my priceless reward." He uttered sincerely.

His words touched my heart. What did I do in my past life to deserve this kind of man? He's right. Every struggle was all worth it. All the pain and trouble were all worth it now that we've been accepted by my parents. Being with him at this very moment is a priceless reward for me, too. And I would be forever grateful that destiny found a way to bind us together despite the saddest past we've shared.

"I love you, Risha..." he whispered and felt him planting short kisses on my shoulder.

"I love you more, Evan..." I smiled at him.

"Nathalie!"

Samantha went towards me happily when I went out of the car. She hugged me right away to welcome me.

"Long time no see!" she greeted me with her sweet voice before releasing me.

She's smiling from ear to ear, wearing the excitement from her eyes evidently. I was stunned for a moment as she's really like an angel. She looks so innocent because of her angelic face. Her smile makes me feel at ease too. Days have passed quickly. It's Saturday and Samantha invited me into their house so we could hang out. She told me that they want to have fun with me. That includes her twin sister Savannah.

"Yes, it's been a while, Samantha. Thank you for the invite," I shyly said and gave her a smile.

"Oh, please don't mention it. You're already part of our family, Nathalie!" she exclaimed and then giggled.

My heart felt the warm because of what she said. I can't believe that they are treating me as part of their family even though Evan and I haven't tied the knot yet. They are truly kind and I know for sure that they love Evan so much. Now I am just excited to marry him... Maybe I'll get closer to Samantha and Savannah once it happens.

"Come! Let's get inside! Savannah is waiting for us at the pool area." She stated.

She held my hand and pulled me inside their mansion. She even ordered their helper to prepare some food for us.

The whole place is silent though. It seems that their parents aren't here right now. I remember the last time I visited this house. Their parents weren't home that time too and Evan locked me up in his room while he was resting and taking a nap.

One good memory. I can't stop myself from smiling as I remember how mad I was at him because he didn't treat me so fairly back then.

We went to the pool area. My gaze turned to Savannah's first child. Her daughter has grown cutely. Her eyes are so adorable. Her whole body is damped, as it appears that she just got off from the pool.

"Sofi, come here! Wear your bathrobe!" A familiar voice called her. That's Savannah's.

"Mama Sam has a visitor, Mommy!" Sofia exclaimed in glee and ran towards her beautiful mom.

Samantha and I went to them. Savannah's sitting on the table. She's putting in the bathrobe and then gave her a muffins. She gazed at me, stood up and walked towards me. Savannah hugged me tight which made me so happy as well. "Nathalie!" she called my name happily. "It's been a while! I am so happy that my brother was able to get you back. He's really a coward sometimes!"

The three of us laughed. I didn't expect Savannah to be this vulgar. But then I think it's part of her personality. I managed to observe them before and I would say that Savannah is the most frank and hard headed among the three of them. "I had no other choice," I joked that made them laugh again.

"Did he scare you by putting a knife on your neck? Would you like me to kill him?" Savannah added, still chuckling and making fun of her old brother.

"Na-uh! I'm good. I loved the chase..." I smiled at them.

Samantha giggled. She's like a soft little kid gushing in glee.

"Aw, you have a soft heart, I see..." Savannah smirked at me. "If I were on your shoe, I'll make that guy suffer! The hell I care."

"Hey, you're so heartless, Sav! Evan is still our older brother. He might hear you bad mouthing him!" Samantha told her twin sister that made me gaze at her.

Savannah might have noticed that because she suddenly cleared her throat.

"May I remind you that it is who invited you here so your attention should be with us. Just let our brother suffer a bit." Savannah giggled. "Perhaps by now he's having a hard time because of my baby Drien."

"Savannah forced him to babysit her baby so that he can't join us here," said Samantha while smiling playfully.

I chuckled. These twins are bullies. I can imagine how they are making Evan's life a little miserable.

We ate some snacks while enjoying the scenic view in the pool area. We talked about a lot of things regarding life and relationships. They told me that they fell in love with one man and that they always argued before because of it. That was Harvey. They also told me how Savannah ended up falling in love with her husband named Seff.

They also brought up Evan's past relationship. They didn't tell it in details but one thing is for sure, and that was the fact that he drowned in pain because of his failed relationship with Irish.

"That's why we are thankful that you came to his life, Nathalie. I thought my brother will just grow old alone. Harvey has been teasing him all the time and Evan was always pissed about it," Samantha told me with a smile on her lips. She slightly moved her feet while in the pool water.

"Yeah, right. Evan is the type of guy who doesn't want to open up things with us so we got really worried about him back then. We were scared that he might just grow old alone and lonely. It was a good thing that our parents tried their best to set him up with you. Though a lot of things happened between you in the past, you're still the end game," Savannah added. She's combing Sofia's long and wavy hair.

"What a perfect love!" Samantha gushed in glee.

I smiled at them. Maybe they are right and I am glad that me and Evan were able to fix things up.

"I am also happy that we're together now. I hope this happiness will continue," I said in hopes that there will be no other issues that will separate us from each other.

"Just trust our brother, Nathalie. He may be ruthless and grumpy most of the time but that idiot loves you so much." Savannah assured me.

I laughed a bit and nodded at him. I guess she's right! Evan showed me every bit of his personality and his emotion towards me.

He loves me, that's true.

Our conversation went on. I never expected that I'll get closer with these two women. We had so much fun that we didn't realize that time passed so fast. Before we even realize it, it's already past seven in the evening so we went inside their house.

I was holding Sofia's hand as we entered into their living room. This little girl is very sweet and jolly. I want to have a daughter like her soon!

"Stay here for dinner, Nathalie. Our parents are coming home and they want to see you," Savannah have informed me. I turned her way. "Oh, uhm... isn't it too awkward?"

"Oh, please! You're part of our family. You only have to marry our brother for formality." Samantha hissed and winked at me.

Her statement made me a little bit shy. I gave her a smile and nodded. Alright, I'll here for dinner.

I stayed in the living room while playing with Sofia. The twins left me for a moment. Savannah went to the kitchen while Samantha went upstairs. I just played rock, papers and scissors with Sofia.

"Yay! I won!" Sofia gushed. She jumped multiple times and then gazed at the double doors when it opened suddenly. "Daddy!"

She ran towards her father and kissed him on his cheek. Seff carried her in his arm. What a lovely scene though... I imagine Evan becoming a good father to our future child...

"Hi, Nathalie!" Seff greeted me and gave me smile while carrying his daughter.

"Hi, good evening..." I shyly greeted him back.

He smiled more, making his dimples exposed. Oh, my goodness! Evan is truly a hottie but Seff is also a gorgeous guy!

I tried to smile at him. I was about to say something when I heard a footsteps coming from the stairs. I glanced at the stairs and saw Evan who's in his simple clothes, his face is in grim while walking downstairs. "What's up, bro?" Seff greeted him. He smirked and gazed on me. "It's great to see you back, Nathalie."

"Thank you..."

Evan went to me. It looks like he just woke up and his aura seems a bit off- or grumpy I would say. I heard Samantha's laughter from the second floor too.

"What did they tell you this time?" he asked with so much grumpiness on his voice.

My forehead creased, confused as to why my man looked very grumpy.

"Huh? Uhm, nothing?" I answered him, confused as to why he asked me all of a sudden.

"You're done with them, right? You should come with me now." He stated and then held my hand.

My lips parted when he suddenly pulled me. We walked upstairs and I am really confused as to what's gotten into him right now.

I saw Samantha when we reached the second floor. She's still laughing.

"I'm sorry, brother!" she shouted but her brother did not say a thing.

"Evan, what happened-" I was not able to finish what I was about to say as I noticed that Savannah followed us upstairs.

"Evan! She came here for us, not for you! Don't lock her up in your room! Hey!" Savannah hissed but her brother did not even listen.

We went to his room and slammed the door shut, without saying a single word to his sisters. I stood up there, dumbfounded and confused why he is acting this way. He then eyed me with his brows furrowed.

"Samantha told me that you said you had no other choice that's why you accepted me again?" he said sarcastically.

Uh-oh...
