"So, Jessica, have you guys fixed a date for the wedding yet?" Krystal asked

"We haven't. But you know what, you are eager for this to happen, so I'm I. So, why are we waiting? Why not start planning now, the venue is available already" Jeff said and Jessica stared at him and laughed, nervously. "Well, I can hardly plan a wedding in three weeks," Jessica said in response.

"But your brother and Hannah did theirs in a few days," Jeff said and Jessica raised her eyebrows

"And how did you know about them doing their marriage in a few days?" Jessica asked

"This is Atlanta, news flies around," Jeff said and Jessica turned to Krystal. She remembered telling her how Brandon had gotten a wife in a few days and boom they were married. She didn't tell her that it was a contract marriage. "It's impossible to plan an event of this season in just three weeks," Jessica said and Jeff laughed.

"You are a Colby. If you throw enough money, you can make anything happen, besides, three weeks is plenty of time, unless you have a reason to want to delay," Jeff said and Jessica sighed.

"What is it, Jessica? Are you scared of marriage? Common Jessica, marriage is a good thing, rip off that band-aid so you won't ruin the best thing that has ever happened to you, aside from me of course the" Krystal said and Jessica smiled. "Okay then, you will be coming to see my family today, so we can tell them we fixed a date already," Jessica said and Jeff smiled at her.

Just then Jeff heard his phone ring, he stared at the phone screen and then turned to Jessica. It's a call at the office.

"It's a call from the office, I have to go now, I will see you later," Jeff said as he stood up and kissed Jessica on her cheeks before walking away.

Dave then stood up and walked away too, he owns the bar and his attention was needed.

Krystal heard her phone ring, it was a call from her mom,

"I have to go now, my mom is calling me, I promised to help her get something," Krystal said and stood up before walking away.

Jessica sighed softly and took a sip from the drink that was on her table. She kept staring into nothing, lots of thoughts going through her mind.

As much as she hates to marry Jeff, she has to do it. Jeff has done enough already and needs to be stopped.

She carried her bag and stood up, just as she was about to walk out of the bar, she mistakenly collided with a strange man and her bag fell on the ground.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going to, I'm so sorry," the strange guy said as he bent and helped Jessica pick up her bag and some few things that had fallen from the bag. "It's okay, I was the one who wasn't watching," she said as she closed her bag and stared at the strange man.

"My name is Matthew, it's nice meeting you or rather colliding with you," the strange guy said smiling as he brought out his hand for a handshake.

***** At the Colby's Mansion*****

Arianna and the kids had just gotten back from the shopping they went to. They didn't only go shopping, they went to the park and had a lot of fun.

They looked so happy and were discussing the fun they had at the park while they went to their room. They missed having fun with their grandma and they were glad they were now with their grandma. Arianna raised her head and saw Elizabeth sitting at the dining table, drinking coffee. She rolled her eyes as she stared at Arianna.

Arianna scoffed and looked away from her, climbing up the stairs to her room.

Just then a soft knock was planted on the front door and Alexander who was seen climbing down the stairs rushed to open the door.

It was a delivery man, he had delivered some clothes Brandon had ordered for Hannah.

"Whose clothes are those?" Elizabeth asked surprised

"It belongs to Mrs Colby. Mr. Brandon had ordered them for her" Alex said and Elizabeth raised her eyebrows wondering why Brandon had ordered new clothes for her.

Alex quickly rushed and climbed upstairs to Hannah's room. He planted a soft knock on the door and Hannah opened the door.

"Hello ma'am, Mr. Brandon asked me to give you the clothes," Alex said and Hannah took the clothes from him and muttered a thank you.

Alex then went back to the kitchen where he was supervising the cooks.

"Make sure the chicken is well cooked," Alex said as he walked out of the kitchen with a maid and asked her to clean the dining table and set the dishes.

Elizabeth wondered what was going on. The only time the maids act this way and Alex supervises this way, it only means someone is visiting or an urgent occasion is coming up. "Alex" Elizabeth called.

"Yes ma'am" he responded.

"Is Brandon expecting someone or holding a welcome party for Hannah?" Elizabeth asked curiously, wondering what was happening.

"No ma'am, it's Miss Jessica who is getting married. Her fiancée would be coming over today" Alex said and Elizabeth stared at him shocked.

"What? She's getting married and no one cared to inform me? Last time I checked I was part of this family" Elizabeth said looking as furious as ever.

Just then the front door opened and Jessica walked in with an event planner, and some other few people, who held flowers and some decoration things in their hands. "You can drop your things there, I'll get back to you," Jessica said as she saw Grandma Elizabeth walking towards her.

"You are getting married and no one bothered to tell me" Elizabeth muttered and Jessica sighed.

"Everything happened so fast, you barely stay at home so I didn't have the chance to tell you about it.

Now you know about it, go get dressed, my fiancée is on his way. We would be having dinner" Jessica said and just then she saw Brandon walking towards her. "What's all this? Who are these people? Report to my study room now!!" Brandon muttered as he went to his study room with Jessica trailing behind her. He locked the door of his study room and turned to Jessica.

"What's all those things downstairs? We haven't fixed a date yet, why are they bringing in decoration things?" Brandon asked, looking confused. "Jeff wants the wedding to happen soon, I don't want to delay it, it's gonna make him feel suspicious" Jessica responded as she sat on the chair. Just then Alex walked inside the study room.

"Sir, the gate called, Jeff has arrived," Alex said and Jessica stood up at once.

"Tell Hannah to come downstairs, Jeff has arrived, and also tell my mom too," Brandon said and Alex nodded before walking out of the room.

"We will be so lucky today if we can get through the hour without you and Jeff blowing each other's heads off," Jessica said as she took the cup of alcohol from the table and poured it in her mouth before walking out of the study room. TBC
