Cinderella And Her Beautiful Octuplets -
Chapter 142
Chapter 142
Brandon grabbed her hands at once.
She paused and then turned to him before looking away.
"Let go of me," Hannah said and Brandon sighed and walked towards her standing in front of her.
"I didn't mean to blame you or raise my voice at you. It wasn't your fault.
I only reacted the way I did because something similar had happened in the past.
I signed off some of those machines to the field not knowing it was having fault, then it blew up and killed everyone on the field, including my brother, Lucas" Brandon said and Hannah opened her mouth slightly. "You had a brother" Hannah asked and Brandon nodded in response, trying his best not to look emotional.
"I didn't know you had a brother, no one has spoken about him before," Hannah who was surprised said out loud.
"No one talked about him because of the way he died," Brandon said and Hannah sighed softly, while she moved away from him.
"I'll make some calls and......"
"It's fine, I already asked them to take the machines to the warehouse, so whatever work is gonna be done on the field needs to hold on for the time being till the machine is fixed," Brandon said and Hannah nodded in response. She dropped her bag and was about to move to her seat when Brandon called out her name making her pause.
"Hannah" He called and she turned to him, he moved towards her, while staring deep down into her eyes.
He rubbed her face with his thumb and then moved his thumb to her lips.
"What are you doing Brandon, you should leave" Hannah breathed out as her heart was already pounding so fast.
Brandon then placed his lips on hers and kissed her softly. Hannah then pushed him away and wiped her lips with her hands,
"Everyone already thinks I slept my way to the COO position, I don't want rumors spreading that we are making out in the office when it's you who's taking advantage of me all the time," Hannah said and Brandon rolled his eyes. "We are married, Hannah. How many times do I have to remind you of that? So it's normal for couples to make out in their offices" Brandon said Hannah opened her mouth trying to speak but words weren't coming out as she stared at the pervert in front of her.
"You pervert!" Hannah finally managed to speak and Brandon chuckled.
"I will be in my office whenever you need me," Brandon said with a smile on his face before walking out of the office.
Hannah placed her hands on her chest as she breathed out in relief.
Truth is, she didn't want to quit the COO job, she would never quit. She just wanted Brandon to apologize to her which he did.

She found herself smiling as she thought of Brandon. She frowned the moment she realized she was thinking about Brandon and smiling.
"Oh shit! What the hell is wrong with me?!" She asked no one in particular as she quickly shook the thoughts of Brandon out of her head and decided to focus on work, maybe it would stop her from thinking about him, she thought.
It was evening and Hannah had received a call from Arianna, that she wouldn't be able to pick up the kids from school, that she had gone on an emergency business trip, and that she would be coming back a day after tomorrow, so Hannah should go pick them up from school.
Hannah packed up her belongings and decided to leave the office to go pick up the kids from school when she heard her phone ring. It was a call from Brandon.
"Meet me at the underground parking lot," Brandon said and Hannah wondered why. She was leaving anyway, so she would surely meet him there as her car was there already.
She ended the call and walked out of the office. She got to the parking lot and saw Brandon standing beside his car.
"Mom called and said she would not be able to pick the kids up from school, so we should go together," Brandon said and Hannah stared at him looking confused.
"And since when did you care about picking up the kids from school?" Hannah asked
"I have always wanted to, I just have been having a tight schedule lately. But now I made sure I cleared all my schedule, so I will be spending so much time with my kids from now on," Brandon said and Hannah scoffed. "You should go back inside the company because you ain't coming to pick up my kids with me," Hannah said as she walked towards her car but Brandon blocked her way.
"They are my kids too, Our kids," Brandon said and Hannah laughed.

"Your kids? You must be kidding me. Just get out of my way already" Hannah said as she pushed Brandon out of her way and walked to her car.
She entered the car and tried switching on the ignition, but it wasn't working. She turned and stared at Brandon who had already entered his car, ignited the engine, and zoomed off leaving her all alone.
It was there Hannah realized Brandon had tampered with her car. That asshole, she voiced out as she tightened her fist on the car steering.
She climbed out of the car and called the mechanic to come to fix her car. It took about 20 minutes for the mechanic to arrive, by the time he was done fixing the car, 40 minutes were gone.
Hannah quickly paid the mechanic and then drove out of the company, she was already late from picking up her kids from school.
They would be so worried by now, this is all Brandon's fault, she thought. When she got to the school premises, she climbed out of the car and rushed to the classroom to get her kids but they were nowhere to be found. "You are the octuplets mother right?" A teacher asked and Hannah nodded.
"Oh, their father came to pick them up just now," the teacher said and Hannah bit her lips.
She quickly brought out her phone to call Brandon but he wasn't answering his phone calls.
I am going to kill you, Brandon.
