Chapter 339:

Madisyn’s voice was steady, carrying an unmistakable threat as she said, “Courtney, I warned you about causing trouble. Continue on this path, and I will reveal all your misdeeds.”

“Are you threatening me? Do you think I’m still scared of you? I’m going to be the future Mrs. Klein!” Courtney retorted defiantly.

How naive.

Madisyn had had enough and signaled her assistant to remove Courtney from the premises. Even as she was being escorted out, Courtney kept yelling, “Madisyn, if you don’t back down now, you’ll only end up humiliating yourself!” Madisyn ignored her.

Turning to the internet, Madisyn saw that the backlash against Tatiana was still intense. Pleased, she assigned a new task to her team: she hired all the girls who had been ousted from the industry by Tatiana’s manipulations.

The news spread like wildfire online. The heart-wrenching stories of these girls had already captured the empathy of many users, and now, the news about their chance at a new life was warmly received.

“Thank you, Edge Entertainment! I’m turning into a fan!”

“Edge Entertainment is truly commendable. They even borrowed that dress for Maxine from Sierra.”

“So the president of Edge Entertainment is Madisyn? The one who Maxine publicly commended?”

“Yes, it’s Madisyn. And stunning!”

A photo of Madisyn was shared in the comments, gathering thousands of likes.

Madisyn’s number of followers surged. While she rarely posted on Twitter—mainly using it to keep up with news—she was astonished to replace she had gained tens of thousands of new followers. Surveying the surge of private messages, mostly filled with praises, she sent out a message along with virtual gifts to her followers.

“Thank you for the love and support! Moving forward, I’ll post updates about Edge Entertainment right here. Please keep supporting Edge Entertainment and our talented artists!”

This note of gratitude further boosted her popularity.

“Wow! Miss Johns is so generous!”

“Seems like she’s suggesting we keep out of her personal life.”

“Here’s a little secret—her boyfriend is quite the catch. After all, birds of a feather flock together, especially among the wealthy.”

After spending a short while on Twitter, Madisyn shifted her focus back to work. She was closely monitoring Milly’s television series. It was Milly’s debut project, and fortunately, she had proven to be completely dependable. The premiere episode alone had quelled doubts about her, highlighting her acting prowess and charm.

The hashtag #MillyIsActing started trending, climbing the ranks of popular searches. Beauty always captures attention. Madisyn was confident that, with this momentum, Milly was on her way to stardom.

After work, Madisyn headed over to the Klein Group. She planned to meet with Andrew and possibly discuss Milly’s progress with Howard. But upon asking, she found out that Howard had left for the day. So, Madisyn went directly to Andrew’s office. She opened the door without knocking and stepped into the elegantly simple office. The air was thick with tension, and it was only then that she noticed several sharply dressed men in front of Andrew’s desk.

They all turned to face her, their eyes conveying a blend of hope and compassion, leaving Madisyn bewildered. Not expecting they were in the middle of a meeting, Madisyn hastily apologized, “Sorry, I didn’t realize you were busy. Please, go on.”

As she was about to leave, Andrew’s deep voice halted her. “No need. We’re done here. Everyone can leave now,” he told the executives.

The executives looked at each other in confusion. Their boss had been incensed just a moment before. Why had his mood shifted so abruptly? And the woman who had just barged in without knocking—wasn’t that a serious breach of protocol? Why wasn’t the boss upset?

Despite their bewilderment, the executives didn’t voice their questions. They quickly gathered their papers and exited, stealing glances at Madisyn as they left. When Andrew’s eyes met Madisyn’s, any remnants of his earlier fury melted away, replaced by a gentle warmth.

“What brings you here today?” Andrew asked.

“I came to see Howard, but he has already left,” Madisyn responded.

“He likely went to check on Milly. Yesterday, Milly was surrounded by game-obsessive fans,” Andrew mentioned casually.

Madisyn was taken aback; she hadn’t been informed of the incident. Yet, knowing Milly, she figured those fans couldn’t have harmed her.

Andrew smiled at Madisyn and said, “It looks like two of your brothers are in love with someone.”

It was clear to Andrew that Howard harbored special feelings for Milly.

Madisyn laughed. “As long as Milly’s on board, I’m happy for them. Howard has had his share of tough breaks—having someone wonderful could really turn things around for him.”

“Indeed. Just give me a moment to finish up here.”

Madisyn nodded and settled herself on the sofa. Noticing the snacks in the coffee table drawer, she smiled. The snacks had become a regular thing since her first visit. She casually grabbed a bag and began to check her phone.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the office door. “Come in,” Andrew said.

Madisyn expected an employee, but a man with fiery red hair and a rebellious look walked in instead.

“Andrew!” Norton exclaimed excitedly as he approached. “I have fantastic news!”
