“Can you put my things back now, Teresa?” Madisyn’s voice was as cold as a winter’s chill.

“Do it yourself!”

“Oh?” Madisyn narrowed her eyes, her presence suddenly exuding a commanding aura.

“Are you really not going to do it?”

“What can you do about it? If you’re so capable, why don’t you get the company to fire me?” Liza replied confidently, dismissing the newcomer’s threat.

Arrogantly, Liza told Madisyn, “Put Teresa’s things back or you won’t get any bonus.

Are you deaf?” Liza, growing increasingly frustrated by the disregard, raised her voice.
