He quickly moved to Teresa’s side and whispered, “Teresa, Evie is a friend.

I came to congratulate her on winning the singing competition.

“Really?” Teresa asked, still suspicious.

“Then why did she say you were her boyfriend?”

“She’s had a crush on me for a while,” Kian sighed.

“I wanted to set things straight with her today and let her know you’re my girlfriend.

”

Teresa accepted this explanation.
