Comeback Of The Adored Heiress -
Chapter 415
Chapter 415:
Madisyn walked back since her villa was nearby. After spending so much time in the office, she found that walking was beneficial for her health.
The night air was a bit chilly, and the streets were relatively deserted. Suddenly, she felt an unsettling chill. She glanced behind, only to replace her mouth covered immediately.
Before she could even react, she lost consciousness.
When Madisyn woke up, she found herself in a vast warehouse that smelled of decay and looked as if it had been abandoned for years.
She tried to move, only to realize that her wrists were bound tightly to a pillar.
A fleeting look of cold determination crossed her face. She had been kidnapped, but who could have done this, and why?
While Madisyn was pondering this, the door creaked open, and Dora, flanked by several bodyguards, entered. Madisyn gave a sneer. “Ah, it’s you, Dora. We don’t have any ill will towards each other, do we?”
Dora looked down at her, her eyes red and puffy. “I brought you here because I need to beg you for help.”
Madisyn glanced at the chains binding her wrists and replied, “Beg me while I’m bound?”

“I’m out of options, Madisyn. Corbett is facing jail time, and you’re my last hope. Andrew listens only to you now. If you refuse, I’ll have to watch my only son go to prison.” Dora’s eyes grew redder with each word.
“He’s your son, not mine!” Madisyn retorted with a sneer. “So what’s it to me?”
“Help me, and I’ll meet your demands,” Dora said, her eyes flashing with cold resolve. “If you refuse, I’d rather join Corbett—even if it means you dying here first.”
That was a clear threat.
Madisyn checked her pocket and, as expected, found her phone was missing.
“‘Alright, can you promise to give me anything I request? I want all of your assets,” Madisyn demanded.
“Sure thing.” Dora agreed eagerly, focused on saving her son. “I’ll arrange that. I’m calling Andrew now, and you can speak with him.”
“Fine.” Madisyn consented.
With Madisyn’s compliance, Dora’s mood lifted. She pulled out her phone and dialed Andrew. After a brief wait, he answered the call. “It’s me,” Dora said.
“I have nothing to discuss,” Andrew responded. Just as he was about to end the call, Dora asked, “Aren’t you interested in who else is here?”
Her question immediately caught his attention.
“‘Andrew, don’t listen to her. She’s trying to use me to force you into forgiving Corbett. Even though she kidnapped me and brought me to this old warehouse, I won’t give in!” Madisyn shouted.
Andrew’s face shifted abruptly. “You’re insane, Dora!”
“I’m not insane! Andrew, if you don’t release my son, I’ll kill Madisyn. Corbett is my only son, and no one else cares about him. As his mother, it’s up to me to save him!” Dora snapped. Her eyes reflected the madness of a mother driven to extremes for her child.
Andrew scoffed. “You’ve had plenty of opportunities to save your son. Corbett has harmed me repeatedly. You could have stopped him and corrected his behavior each time, but you didn’t because you were hoping he would become the heir to the Klein Group. Even when he resorted to dirty tactics, you supported him. Now you both reap what you’ve sown!”
Dora was infuriated by these words. It was true that she had seen many things Corbett had done over the years. If Corbett killed someone, Dora wouldn’t think he was wrong. They were from the Klein family, and to her, those victims were just people, not worth her concern. However, retribution eventually came, and Dora found herself unable to bear the consequences.
“Cut the crap—will you save Madisyn or not? I’ll give you ten minutes to decide. After that, I’ll kill her!” Dora’s craziness was evident.
“Don’t worry about me!” Madisyn yelled. “If Corbett is set free, he will definitely come after you. You cannot let him go, and you must not forgive him. I’ve found happiness with a real family and have no regrets even if I die. Also, Andrew, remember to drive safely on your way home; it’s a remote area.”
“Be quiet!” Dora shouted as she slapped Madisyn across the face.
A red palm print suddenly appeared on her beautiful face. She stared coldly at Dora, her gaze so intense that Dora immediately felt a chill run down her spine. How could Madisyn exude such a powerful presence? For a moment, Dora almost believed she was staring at Andrew himself.
“‘Andrew, will you agree or not? If you refuse, you’ll have to deal with Madisyn’s fate.”
The sound of the slap was clearly audible over the phone. Andrew’s normally calm demeanor turned dark and menacing, and his voice grew colder. “Alright, I agree, but it will take me some time to get to the police station.”
“Fifteen minutes, no more! If I don’t get a call from Corbett within fifteen minutes, I’ll kill Madisyn!” Dora snapped.
“Understood.”
After the call ended, Andrew’s assistant, who had been present, wished he had never shown up. The situation was terrifying—Dora had actually kidnapped Madisyn.
With his dark, menacing expression, Andrew looked as though he had emerged straight from the depths of hell.
