Chapter 241 Miss You

The person in front of her did not look old, yet his head was covered in white hair. At first glance, his white hair gave someone a fake sense that he was an old man. However, if one were to look again, one would realize that he was a handsome man in his 40s At first, Bella had assumed that the man before her was suffering from albinism, but after getting a closer look, she realized his eyebrows and shared

beard were of a normal color.

It was only then could she confirm that he wasn't an albino and just had white hair in general.

The man wasn't just your average middle-aged man as he was wearing a branded suit. She guessed that he was probably some big shot that she had never met before

She could even see the charm and charisma he had carried during his young days.

He hadn't lost much of his charm, but there was a strong and stable sense of maturity in his gaze, making him look extremely striking

Meeting the man's gaze, Bella looked away awkwardly and said, "I apologize. What seems to be the problem here?"

The man laughed and said, "It's alright. Many people who see me for the first time tend to stare. My hair turned white when I was young.

"Recently, my heart has been feeling slightly uncomfortable, and I'd always feel some pain in the middle of the night. Dr. Jones, could you arrange some tests to be done on me?"

Bella couldn't arrange tests as she wished. She got up and walked toward the man while taking out her stethoscope. "Let me take a look at where it hurts.

The man was very cooperative as he unbuttoned his shirt.

Bella stayed professional and completed the check-up before she said, "I roughly have an idea of what's happening. I'll arrange some tests for you, and you can come back to me once you get the results."

The man buttoned up his shirt before standing up and giving her a smile. Then, he took the papers and left her office.

She then proceeded to tidy up her messy desk when she noticed that her name tag had fallen off at some point and had been covered by sume medical charts.

She was just about to put her name tag back on when she suddenly remembered that the previous patient hadn't seen her name tag. In that case, how did he know that her last name was Jones?

When patients made appointments, they would make an appointment based on the specific department. Considering that she wasn't a specialist yer, patients could not make an appointment with her.

It was impossible for patients to know her name. Also, shouldn't someone as wealthy as that man be treated by a specialist like lan?

She began searching through her patient records and found out that the man's name was Victor Morse. She had never heard that name before.

Victor hadn't returned with his test results even though her shift was about to end soon, but she didn't think much of it.

With so many people passing through the hospital every day, it was impossible to keep track of everyone. He probably had some urgent business

elsewhere.

By the time she got home at night, she saw Dominic playing with Pudding in the garden. She handed Sylvia her bag and went up to tease Pudding. "Why don't I bring you out for a walk later?" Dominic's gaze darkened. "Am I not even as important as a dog now?"

She looked up in confusion. "What?

He sneered and said, "If you count in today, we haven't met in three days. Despite not seeing each other for three days, you greeted Pudding first even though I was standing at the side. Did you even notice me?" Bella tried to hold her laughter in. "Why are you comparing yourself to a dog? I'll go wash my hands and eat first."

She had only taken two steps when he pulled her into his arms. "Did you really not miss me?"

She shrunk her neck and tried to break free. "Let go of me... Someone might see us! I missed you. I missed you so much that I couldn't sleep at night, alright?" Dominic remained silent as he hugged her quietly.

- Bella looked up to see his perfect Jawline. Due to the fact that he was hugging her too tightly, she couldn't do anything and could only kiss the corner

his jaw.

"Next time, I'll definitely greet you before greeting Pudding when I come home."

Only then did he let her go. She headed inside the house, her expression filled with exasperation. Even so, her heart was feeling sweet. She felt like she was in a sweet relationship.

For the first time in her life, she realized that being in a relationship was completely different from having a crush,
