Chapter 283 Preferences

don't have to go

Bella swept her gaze over the store, and the sky-high prices didn't appeal to her. "I don't like anything here. I'm not buying anything, so your through all this trouble."

Dominic instructed the sales attendant with a cold expression, "Pick something that suits her. Nothing too bright. Wrap it all for me."

"Can you stop being ridiculous?" Bella was speechless.

However, he ignored her and signaled the sales attendant to select the clothes.

seeing this, Bella gave up resisting and let him do as he pleased. After all, he only wanted things his way.

Finally, the sales attendant returned with several bags that both of them clearly couldn't carry. After paying and leaving the address for delivery, Dominic dragged her to a lingerie store next.

Bella refused to go in, but he forced her to. He knew that she wouldn't pick anything, so he shamelessly chose for her according to his preferences, Dominic liked more mature and alluring styles than the cute and cartoonish ones she usually wore. Bella blushed, unable to understand how a grown man like him remained so calin when shopping for lingerie. And he was so open about his preferences!

After they left the lingerie store, Bella was terrified that he would do something even more absurd, so she shifted her icy demeanor to one of pleading. "Can we stop shopping? I don't need that many clothes, 1 already have plenty."

He turned slightly to gaze at her and asked, "Won't shopping make women feel better? Aren't you a woman?"

"You should know if I'm a woman or not," she replied through gritted teeth.

Finally, Dominic's face relaxed slightly, "You're right. You finally said something I like hearing. Let's keep shopping till you're satisfied."

Two hours later, Bella was utterly exhausted and sat in the resting area. "I can't fit anymore in my tiny closet. Stop buying already. Do you have too much money to spend

Dominic didn't even break a sweat. "We'll put everything in my room since iny walk-in closet is big enough. I'll ask Sylvia to make some space for you. From now on, you'll move into my room."

She instantly rejected and exclaimed, "No! Don't push it. You've als

already taken up too much of my personal space. This is my limit."

He glared at her as if trying to gauge whether there was room for negotiation. Seeing her severe expression and refusal to budge, he relented. "Fine. As long as we don't discuss breaking up, I'll do as you say. But under one condition, don't avoid me.

she didn't respond. She mentally counted what he had bought for her, including the many clothes, shoes, and even bags. Judging by how many times he had swiped his card, he must've spent quite a bit.

Suddenly, his phone rang, and he glanced at the

screen before stepping aside to answer.

and eat

Bella noticed he had changed to a new phone but didn't think much about it as she rested. After a few minutes, Dominic hung up and returned to her. "Let's replace a place to as utterly exhausted and responded, "I don't want to. I want to go home." hum and reached out to hold her, unusually compliant.

He responded with

Too tired to argue further, Bella reluctantly placed her hand in his. As she stood next to him, dressed in a plain sweater and looking completely natural, she felt enticely out of place next to his finely made suit.

Back at Miller Manor, the items from the mall arrived. Most were taken to Dominic's coom, leaving only a few items in Bella's closet, which couldn't fit everything. During lunch, she asked, "Do I have the right to determine what to do with all those clothes? My closet is crammed, and I'm sure yours is too."
