Chapter 308 Worthless and Filthy

Gloriana slapped Bella's hand away. "Stop trying to scare me. Do you have the money to sue me? This is Klein Manor; I'm the one in charge here."

Bella's hand, already injured, throbbed painfully from the slap, and she frowned. "I'm warning you one last time-open the door, or I'll call the police. What you and your brother said to insult me was slander, and I can still sue you for that." Seeing that she was serious, Gloriana dropped the tough act. "Cut the theatrics. You just got dumped by Mr. Miller, so you're probably broke and can't afford a meal. Don't you need this job? I can pay you. Just do your job properly. How about it?" Bella replied with a forced smile, "No deal. I'm not going to take your money."

Gloriana glared at her, her eyes widening with anger. "Don't push your luck!"

Bella scoffed lightly. "That's rich coming from you. Don't prance around like a clown in front of me. If Dominic treasures you so much, why didn't he take you along on his trip to Dusna?

"You think you can trample on me? You're not even worthy. Wait until Dominic publicly acknowledges our breakup and starts dating you. Then, you can flaunt your status.

Gloriana was left speechless with rage. Taking advantage of her moment of shock, Bella snatched the remote control from her hand, opened the door, and left.

Upon driving back to Lia's studio, she saw Leonard and asked, "What are you planning to do regarding the last banquet incident?"

Leonard replied, "Are you referring to the Klein family?"

She nodded. "Exactly."

He shrugged helplessly. "My dad hates it when people insult my background. Yelena was so harsh with her words. It won't matter even if someone begs for mercy. I don't think the Klein family can last much longer. Their family members have been coming to plead with my dad, but he has ignored them all." Lia exclaimed happily, "That's how it should be!"

Bella felt pleased inside but kept it to herself, unsure if Dominic would actually protect Gloriana and the Klein family. "Leonard, do you think your dad would back off if Dominic started dating Gloriana?"

His expression turned strange. "No way! Even if they got together, my dad wouldn't back off. And Dominic wouldn't support the Klein family. It's dating, not marriage. He knows the difference. He wouldn't be obligated to care for an entire family. He'd only need to deal with

Gloriana.'

Lia shot Leonard a glare. "What are you talking about? If Dominic really fell for Gloriana, he'd be blind. It'd be better to get rid of him!"

Leonard didn't dare say anything more. "You're right. I'm off to work. What do you want for lunch? I'll have someone bring it to you."

She suddenly felt uneasy. "What are you doing? I already said not to make a fuss! I've forgiven you, so can we drop the act? Enough of this performance! Don't come here pretending to care!

He acted as if he hadn't heard her. "Today, we got a batch of great seafood at home. I'll send some over for lunch. I'm leaving now."

Watching him walk away, Lia looked despondent. "Damn it! He's trying to fatten me up so that I can't get married!"

Bella chuckled softly. "I think he's serious.

Lia quickly covered her mouth. "What are you talking about? If that's true, I'll run away! Who wouldn't be afraid of being targeted by the Sawyer family? Don't scare me like that!" Bella pushed her hand away. "Okay, okay. I'll stop.

Only then did Lia notice the injury on Bella's hand. "What happened to your hand? Didn't you go to tutor someone? Why are you back so soon?
