Crushed Affections (Dominic and Bella) -
Chapter 315
Chapter 315 Bad Luck
Dominic pressed the doorbell impatiently, seemingly ignoring her.
With no choice but to open the door, Bella found Pudding darting in excitedly, circling her.
It seemed he had come specifically to drop off Pudding. He showed no intention of stepping inside. "I have a business trip. She hasn't been in a good mood after you left, so I thought I'd let her stay with you for a few days." Bella couldn't refuse Pudding but was worried her busy work schedule might hinder her ability to care for Pudding. "But I have a lot of work to do..."
He frowned as he lit a cigarette. "You know how easy it is to take care of her. You seem to be doing well these days with plenty of visitors."
Bella felt speechless. "Can't you just talk normally? Did you bring Pudding's stuff?"
He handed her a bag from the floor. "Everything's in here. She won't be here for long. This is enough. I'll come back to pick her up when I'm back."
With that, he turned and left without looking back Bella slammed the door in frustration, realizing her sausages had gone entirely cold.
She thought she had nothing to do with Dominic anymore, but how did he replace her address? The fact that he showed up in the middle of the night with Pudding made her feel like she was still trapped in his grasp. As Lia would say, it was just bad luck!
The next day, Bella woke up early, took Pudding out for a walk, and prepared food and before heading to the hospital.

She went home to check on Pudding during her lunch break, skipping lunch with Ethan and her other colleagues.
Pudding was even better behaved than she had expected-not destructive or noisy. She was only worried Pudding might get bored at home alone.
At that point, she still hadn't realized that Pudding's arrival was the start of her "nightmare". After a long day at work, she came home exhausted, only to have to answer a video call from Dominic, who wanted to see how Pudding was doing.
She positioned her phone so that he could see Pudding and went to prepare dinner. After sucht a busy day, she still felt hungry after dinner and wanted supper.
Once she finished eating, Dominic abruptly ended the video call without a word of greeting or goodbye. His attitude was quite rude.
She put her phone down and stroked Pudding's head. "Dominic is such a jerk, right? Look at him acting all high and mighty. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even bother with him."
Pudding didn't make a sound, but she licked her hand affectionately.
That made Bella laugh. "I'll make you a special meal tomorrow.
With Pudding around, Bella spent her free time rushing home. Unfortunately, she had a night shift the next day and wouldn't have time to take Pudding for a walk.
Just then, she ran into Ethan as he was finishing his shift. On a whim, she called out to him, " Uh... You're not on duty tonight, right?"
He looked surprised that she was speaking to him. He awkwardly ran a hand through his hair. Yeah... What's up?"
She bit her lip, feeling shy. "Well, I have to pull an all-nighter, and I can't walk my dog. I remember you live in the same apartment building, right? Could you help me walk her? My dog is very well-behaved; she won't bark or bite." Without hesitation, he agreed, "Sure! I like dogs. My mom has a poodle. What breed is yours? A Pomeranian? A Corgi?"
Bella smiled, saying, "I have a black Labrador. Her name is Pudding."
Ethan's mouth twitched slightly. "Isn't that... a big dogs
