Chapter 35 It Is All Right
Colton didn’t notice Elsa’s emotions at all. He simply said to her, “You should get some rest since you’re pregnant.”
Panicking, Elsa grabbed Colton’s arm and said, “Colt, do you not like me being in contact with Francesca? If that’s the case, I won’t see her again in the future, all right?”
Colton lowered his gaze to look at Elsa, his deep eyes seemingly trying to peer into her heart. After a moment, Elsa uncomfortably shifted her gaze
away.
He replied solemnly, “If you want to be Mrs. Zeller, I will fulfill your wish. But don’t do anything unnecessary, especially when it comes to Francesca. Do you understand?”
Elsa stiffened. She was about to explain herself when she saw Colton’s all- knowing gaze. In the end, she said nothing.
Colton looked back in the direction Francesca had left. What is she doing at the hospital? Especially since….
His eyes darkened as he glanced at the doorplate of the obstetrics and gynecology department.
At that moment, Francesca had walked around the hospital compound and found a small door to re–enter the building.
Yoel came to greet her as soon as she reached the stairs. “Your child is over here.”
Francesca quickly followed him and arrived at the entrance of the VIP ward. From a distance, she saw Lukas and Luna looking listless and with red rashes all over their faces.

“Mommy!”
Francesca quickly stepped forward and scooped the kids into her arms. Her eyes were brimming with tears as she said, “You two scared me to death.”
Upon smelling the familiar scent of her little ones, Francesca finally relaxed. She was unwilling to let go of them for a long time.
It was at this moment that Anna stepped forward and said guiltily, “I’m sorry, Fran. It was my carelessness that caused this-”
“It’s my fault.”
George, who had been sitting in the corner, also came over with a serious expression and apologized to Francesca. “I didn’t realize there was a small amount of peanut butter in the cookies when I fed the children, which caused their allergic reaction.”
Francesca was somewhat surprised. She had always thought that George didn’t like kids. Hence, she never expected him to feed them snacks.
Just as she was about to speak, Luna gently hugged her neck and said, “Grandpa George bought snacks for us because he likes us. We can’t blame him for this.”
Lukas nodded and held his mother’s hand. “I don’t blame Grandpa George.”
George was somewhat surprised. He had just witnessed the two children’s discomfort during their allergic reactions. Hence, he didn’t expect them to forgive him so easily.
Francesca gently patted their heads and smiled at George. “Since they have chosen to forgive you, I have no grounds to say otherwise. As the children said, your intentions were good. They are willing to accept your

kindness.”
George’s eyes flickered as he crouched down to meet Lukas’s and Luna’s gaze. “Grandpa George has done you wrong this time. Once you’re all better, would you like to visit my house again? I promise that what happened today won’t happen again.”
Lukas and Luna exchanged looks and exclaimed, “Great! Grandpa George has to play with us again next time we come!”
George gently pinched their hands, smiling and nodding in agreement.
Upon seeing this scene, Anna smiled with relief. Although George always appeared nonchalant, in reality, every time the twins visited, he would deliberately sit in the living room, waiting for the children to take the initiative to greet him and then pretend to play with them reluctantly.
Men, more bark than bite.
After George and Anna left, Yoel turned to Francesca apologetically and said, “I’m sorry. This wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t brought them
home…”
Francesca frowned. “We’ve already accepted your apology. Are you planning to say sorry every time you see Luna and Lukas?”
Yoel kept quiet at that and turned to Lukas and Luna. You two will be staying at the hospital tonight. Do you need me to bring anything for you?”
Luna said to Yoel in her baby voice, “I want my StellaLou.”
Whereas Lukas coolly said, “I want my iPad.”
Yoel hugged the two kids and nodded. “I’ll go get it for you right away.”

After instructing the kids to stay in bed, Francesca followed Yoel out the door. “I just bumped into Colton. I’m worried…”
Yoel understood and suddenly pulled out a household registry from his pocket. “I knew this day would come, so I prepared this in advance.”
Francesca was stunned when she saw the household registry.
The ages of the two children had been reduced by a year, and her own name had also been changed from Francesca to Cynthia in the booklet.
“Since Lukas and Luna have returned, you can’t hide them forever. So it’s better to prepare in advance.” Yoel looked at Francesca earnestly. Francesca saw how much he cared for the children in his eyes and felt touched.
After Yoel left, Francesca returned to the ward and sincerely apologized to Lukas and Luna. “I’m sorry, I’ve been too busy lately and neglected you both, even letting you play in someone else’s home. I’m sorry.”
Luna tilted her head. “Does that mean Mommy gave us away on purpose?”
“Of course not!” Francesca quickly denied it. “I had prayed to the heavens for a long time before you two darlings came to me. How could I possibly not want you?”
Luna replied earnestly, “Since Mommy is working hard to make sure we are well–fed and well–dressed, why would we blame you? You, adults, are such a w–worry squid!”
She nudged Lukas and continued, “Don’t you think so?”
Lukas looked at her helplessly and said, “It’s worry wart or a person who worries excessively.”
“We don’t blame you, Mommy.” He gave Francesca a look and quickly

Francesca felt touched and amused at how understanding her kids were. She gently asked, “Do you want to go to kindergarten?”
Once upon a time in Astoria, Lukas, and Luna always had private tutors at home. Although it was safe, they rarely had contact with other children. Now that they have returned to their home country and have registered as a household, Francesca thought perhaps it was time to consider enrolling them in kindergarten.
“What is a kindergarten?” Luna asked, full of curiosity. “Are there lions and tigers inside?”
Francesca couldn’t help but feel amused. She patiently explained to the two kids what kindergarten meant. “You can meet a lot of kids your age and play with them in a kindergarten.”
“Then I’m going!” Luna jumped up excitedly, completely forgetting about the rash on her body..
Lukas couldn’t help but agree. Even though the kindergarten syllabus was too easy for him; he had to take care of his little sister as the only man in the family.
Seeing that both of them were willing to go, Francesca sent a message to Marcus, asking him to gather some kindergarten information and hand it over to her.
Marcus was utterly confused upon receiving the message. He couldn’t help but wonder if their company was planning to venture into the preschool education business.
